Hello,
I have a 2015 Lexus is250 and was wondering if anyone knows how I can update the navigation by myself. I've only found updates for Europe but not Australia.

I have no idea
Surely someone out there ought to have the correct pile of DVD's available, rent/borrow them and load it into your head unit.
If it's anything like the stupid Mercedes update, it can't skip years, it has to be brought up to date year by year.
There seems to be a number of "after market" providers that will sell you an update disc, e.g. https://navshop.com.au/collections/lexus
None of those will work with a 2015 Lexus..
Meanwhile just helped update a 2018 PD i30 for free via the Hyundai website.
Geez
Could get a whole new head unit for that.
Buy a Chinese Android unit from Aliexpress and forget OEM updates forever.
But then the CCP will know OP’s exact position.
No need to go to aliexpress, Joying has an Australian warehouse. :-)
Read lexus owner forum.
I always think the typo DYI stands for Do Yourself In.
Lifeline is 13 11 14. If it gets to difficult.
OP needs a needs a Lexion unit.
Lexmania Australia sell them as they are the Australian distributer for them.
have a look into Lexion and what they have, uses factory screen or even upgrade your screen to a 12.3" screen according to Lexmania's facebook page.
Almost like you're better off rip the head unit out and replace something with Carplay/Android Play. Who uses the in-dash GPS nowadays? Most of them don't even have real time traffic details to re-route you from trouble.
It s it different from Toyota updates?
