Definitely a better value if you're not looking for battery endurance, but a 90wh battery + a 5800H will offer far better battery life.
i5 and a 60hz screen so not really a fair comparison. I think the additional $270 is well worth.
Same screen.
Just the CPU difference.
My bad! Not sure how I skimmed straight past that one. Fair call in that case.
This one has 8 cores vs 6, 144hz screen and probably double the battery life.
Heck I'd probably pay the difference for the screen alone
They are both 144hz, not sure where everyone is reading it's 60hz on the MSI display.. - but yes, significantly bigger battery and AMD CPUs are more powerful and output less heat. On paper, ASUS is worth the added cost.
Ah you're right lol
@Merlict: I would wait on a confirmation of the screen specifications before placing an order, because the AMD based laptops support up to a 240hz, 1080p, 100% sRGB.
Considering the absolutely stupid prices RTX 3000 cards are going for this ain't bad
45% sRGB is just mind blowing. but I guess if you care about frames per second more, it's fine
Assuming they haven't changed the chassis honeycomb intake, I would avoid the A15 series
HB did a good video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRDUR-rPGsM&t
It's quite dodgey and boggles my mind why they'd do that but I do not know if it's changed.
Your post relates to the 2020 model. The 2021 A15 is completely different with revamped cooling, including better intakes. Please refer to the details below.

If you don't mind i5, this is cheaper:
