Had this set saved in my Amazon shopping basket for a while and just saw it drop today to £49.99 which (using Amazon's own currency converter) comes to AUD$65.79 (Delivered free to Australia).

It's been the cardboard packaging for a while now (since at least the middle of 2010). The cardboard box is actually a bit sturdier (the tin used to always come dented), and this. set is an absolute steal, given the hours upon hours of quality sci-fi you get with it.

Hrm, it doesn't have 'The Plan' - not a killer on the deal, but not the 'complete' Battlestar series (don't get me started on the whole 'webisodes' debacle) and something to consider when comparing to other options.
The Plan is available in a steelbook version at Amazon UK for around $11, it's probably a bit overpriced compared to the box set overall (17% of the price), but it's good to have for completeness.
As for the webisodes, only one set is missing, 'The Face of the Enemy'. Both the Resistance (S3, disc 2), and the Razor "Husker" webisodes (S4, disc 1) are present in the set. None of the box sets (US or otherwise) actually has 'The Face of the Enemy'.

This box set made ozb earlier this month at ~$70. I bought it then but there's a huge backlog in deliveries so I haven't got it yet.

Thats about how much i paid. True this is a better price, but i've enjoyed watching bsg from start to finish for the last year, only just finished it about a month ago. Money well spent! I would've just blown the $30 saving on random useless $0.99 deals on ozb anyway :)
