Was trying to work out if this was a deal or not. Not really super knowledgeable with laptop prices. Seems great on paper for a 4k gaming laptop, but im suspecting the 2080 super isn't powerful enough?????? 4k 120hz tho……

Seems that way. Would be hard to compete with a 2xxx when new legions and new omens with 5800/3070 combo's are apparently around the 2.5k mark.

recently got a msi gp66 lepoard for around $2520. That is with a 3070 on it.
I honestly don't know how these thin laptops are going to handle the heat without a good cooling system which means you need to be a decent size.
