Note this is the "gaming 4" not the "gaming x" version (big difference).

No usb c port on the back, for people who want that.

Also no built in wifi, but there is a m2 slot for a wifi card to be put in.

$209 gets you the Gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro shipped from centrecomm which is a much better motherboard in every single way except is B550.

Unless you specifically need two PCI-E Gen 4 SSD's this board isn't worth it

    • I'm just looking at returning my Aorus Pro. I won't get another Gigabyte board after this one.

  • That list looks a little broken, it says "Tier B" just to the right of it, despite being in the "Tier S" category. Also it's just a google docs list, I wouldn't put much stock in it.

    I bought 550 Taichi for $299
2 weeks ago. Outstanding performance so far.

I bought this when it was released and have had no issues with it apart from it being selective about certain RAM modules. i.e won't accept my 3600 ram so I am running it at 3400 MHz and 1700MHz FClk

Performance has been good, I removed the stickers and stuff and get a nice 45 degrees C across the VRMs.

This seems like a great deal.

Paid $139 for ASUS TUF B450M-PRO Gaming a couple of weeks ago. The extra $60 seems to buy a lot more new features than the TUF.

    Thanks OP

I've just had my 3rd Gigabyte MB go rogue on me, so another brand is welcome.

Bought one. I was lined up to buy at NewEgg so the timing is great.
