Please note: this game requires a Steam account to be redeemed.

The game plus all DLCs (5) including Blood pack amounted to USD $14.45. You're getting Blood Pack for free here as you automatically activated "Buy 4 Games Pay for 3" offer (the cheapest item in your cart will be free).

I suggest using the search bar by typing 'total war' instead of going through the offer pages as the DLCs are scattered in 10+ pages.

Total War: Shogun 2 + all DLCs expire in 10 days.

The "Buy 4 Games Pay for 3" offer is also great if you haven't got the popular titles yet.

Happy festive season everyone.

You could buy the 4 DLCs plus the game, and then use the 600 blue coins to buy the blood pack

  • You could get it even cheaper, if you buy Shogun 2 and blood pack from Gamesgate and then buy the rest of the DLCs from Steam, steam DLC prices are lower.

Rise of the Samurai 1.74 vs 2.50
Sengoku Jidai Unit Pack 0.98 vs 0.98
Ikko Ikki Clan Pack 1.12 vs 2.25
Hattori Clan Pack 1.11 vs 1.24

Bloodpack is 0.39 on GamesGate but you can probably get it for free using the blue coins you earn.

    • Don't know if they will work together though, read online for another game DLC and base game didn't work together when bought separately from Steam and gamersgate.

      • I can confirm that you can buy Shogun 2 from Gamersgate and then register it on a Steam account using the activation code that you get. Once you've got it on Steam, it'll be the same as if you bought it through them.

(Any game on this list can be registered on Steam: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=7480-WUS…)

        • So, if I buy Total War from GamersGate and activate it on Steam and then buy the 4 DLC from there, how would Bloodpack be recognised from Steam if I buy that particular DLC from GamersGate?

  • is the game worth the money?

    • If you can run it and like strategy games then yes.

I prefer medieval, Rome and empire personally because I have a greater interest in the history. I just bought napoleon for $5 from gamersgate. In relation to Shogun, it's definitely worth $7.50.

Amazon also has this at the same price.

    • Thanks, just bought it there as I have an account with them, so it's more convenient :)

  • So tempting … decision decision

  • Great post, fleOn, thanks for the detail.
