Well, all I'm going to say is… I've ordered a couple and they are being dispatched by courier.
I still don't believe it.

Enjoy guys, don't be too rough. These puppies normally retail for $800 to $1000 dollarydoos.
Just had to get my order in before I clue everyone in ;)

    I got the delay email a couple hours before they emailed to confirm pricing error, the fact they'll issue a refund and to dispute the listing directly with Catch if I wish to pursue it.

    Damn.

  • Has anyone talked to JW Computers and confirmed that with the delay they are ordering 6tb drives and not the 16tb drives?

      Yup, I messaged them to confirm today it was 16tb and about 3 hours later they replied with this:

      Due to a technical error with the online listing, your purchase has unfortunately needed to be cancelled.
      Please be advised that your funds will be returned to your original payment method within the next 5-7 business days.

      And a few minutes after that on catch, it said cancelled and a refund was issued.

    Maybe JW have cash flow issues? A week to 'discover' the error, and 5-10 business days on top to refund? Sure it was never going to get supplied at that price, but no intent to substitute, provide a discount or anything yet hang on to my money for 3 weeks is bad form. I've purchased from them before and had no issues, but I won't be a returning customer anytime soon. While Catch are also to blame the whole thing should have been wrapped up last Monday!

    • I just got an email as well and they also applied a $10 store credit to my account.
