Hi all, I have recently (just then haha) purchased on eglobaldigitalcameras.com.au for a DSLR kit. After going through www.dwidigitalcameras.com.au and www.eglobaldigitalcameras.com.au for the past days I finally decided on eglobal, it was like 30$ cheaper even DWI has free shipping.

Back to the story, after complaining to eglobal about the shipping, they chucked me a code and it instantly took 10$ off my order. So after all I saved an extra 10$. i know it's not that big of a deal, but it's still 10$ and i would like to share to you guys, if any of you guys wanted to go through eglobal.

  Not sure if I'm happy to buy from a company using an Australian website without an ABN, phone number or Physical address listed anywhere. Aparantly their holding company (TRUDARK PTY. LIMITED) ABN is 58003759662, according to Whois.

  That said, the prices on www.eglobaldigitalcameras.com.au seem a little cheaper than DWI on some Sony Gear.

  I guess since they both have the same owners, one might be a lower service version of the other. at least DWI have local phone numbers etc.

  The EGLOB10 code is also shown on a popup if you are on the site long enough

    From memory the shipping cost was about $35 for a compact camera sent via DHL, which is reasonable for a courier delivery. It ended up about $20 cheaper than DWI before the coupon code, so about $30 cheaper all up on a $300 camera.

      For DSLR it's around $85+ and almost always pushes over DWI cost. Only buy if you are buying multiple items

  i bought my $2.5k lens from this company, my dslr body from dwi. both companies are great, the price including the shipping are better than ANY local companies. Sure, we want cheap or even free shipping, but please be realistic. also,who care whether they have ABN or not?! Amazon do not have abn , do they?

  as to the $10 off shipping "bargain", NO, it is NOT a bargain, because eglobaldigitalcamera always offer that code on their website as soon as you check out.

    Unlike US .com's, any business registering a com.au domain is supposed to be a registered Australian business (which TRUDARK P/L appears to be). The point I was trying to make is that it's unusual not to have the at least the ABN, Registered Business name, Phone number, or physical address anywhere on a legitimate Australian website so people know who they are dealing with.

  my experience said dont buy from DWI, prod come with ripped labels + worst customer service ever. In the end of the day, you get what you pay for.

    care to back that up..whirlpool users have mostly had good experiences other than payment issues via cc.
