      • It doesn't say that in your deal post…

          Well spotted.

The 500g variety regularly goes on half price at coles/woolworths which is better value than this, however good to see they have the larger packs now so hopefully they go on half price too.

This is now my go to peanut butter.

  • There's shed lots of reports online about this stuff being watery and impossible to use so buyer beware. I have an unused jar in my cupboard because it has the consistency of a milkshake.

Needs stirring! Or pro tip, store it up side down. Lets the oils combine with the nuts

    • +1

Must be from the very clueless. My wife loves this stuff and we've had zero issues with it.

    • It's watery at the top only. i mix it in - but yes, storing upside down is a great idea.

  • Would anyone have insight on how this compares to other brands such as Pic's and Mayvers? Cheers in advance

    • +2

It's decent. Not Mayvers, but OTOH, my wife prefers this.

    • +2

Really good. As said above if you're not used to the really natural stuff just give the natural oils a stir in. It's as good as mayvers and all Aussie.

Havent had Pics for awhile but its better than Mayvers since Mayvers moved to the 100% imported nuts. So personally would recommend

      • +2

Agree, a real pity that Mayvers marketing itself as Australian family business imports their peanuts. This will change my buying habits.

Wow, I had no idea this happened. Thanks for the heads up and I'd definitely rather be supporting aussie

Try the fresh peanut butter from your local fresh food markets. Yummmm

  • It's sooo oily even with mixing

  • +1

If you keep it in the fridge in about ~2 days it will have 'normal' peanut butter texture.

    • how come
