PS3 Controller $52.99; Microsoft XBOX 360 Controller Wired/Wireless $36/38 Free Delivery

90

I got a controller for myself about a week ago from this site and they delivered it in 4 days, which was pretty good considering it was Christmas time.

Anyway here are the links for the 4 separately:

Xbox controller 360 Wired(for Xbox only):

Xbox controller 360 Wireless(for both XBOX and WINDOWS):

This website also has quite a few different types of non-Microsoft Xbox controllers:

    That's their normal pricing,

    • -5

Exactly. Their normal pricing is better than the special Christmas pricing of Harvey Norman and the others. The only other online store that has a comparable price was AccessoryJack but they have a $10 shipping fee. I haven't found any other store with free shipping AND a lower price.

        This is ozbargain not ozcheapestnormalprice

      • You also have to wait 10-15 working days for delivery. Hate to say it but I would rather just go down to harveys and pay the extra $5

I agree with BlueyT their normal prices put the "special bargain" prices from my local stores to shame, which is why its a bargain.

I don't really get the PS3 controllers pricing, I got one for ~%60 a year ago and now it's still the same.
The PS3 Consoles on the other hand.. they seem to have lost about $100 value.

  • AFAIK, both wireless XBOX360 controllers work on both Windows and Xbox. Except a dongle is needed to connect the controller to the computer which is included in the slightly more expensive controller bundle.

  • Is the genuine microsoft wireless controller??
can you please let us know your experience with it.

Also, I am new to XBOX world, can you please suggest any shop/ online site for cheap games. or any site/shop for used games.

    Thanks in advance.

    • The Sony is the 6 axis genuine & works perfectly. I don't care if it's normal price as it craps on local pricing & is therefore a bargain.

    • Its a genuine microsoft controller. you have to install some drivers from the CD provided and there's a USB dongle in the box as well. I just love playing Skyrim with it on my laptop, its just plain awesome.
As for games: for second hand games, EB Games isn't too bad and for unused games Ozgameshop would be my recommendation.

      • Thanks for your quick reply..

        I will order it . cheers !!

        • just ordered 2 controller and 2 charge and play kits
          cheers !!

  • Hi "deal seeking missile", since you have already received the PS3 controller from these guys (ozgameshop), could you please let me know what's written on the back of the controller, is it DC 5V 500mA OR DC 3.7V 300mA?

    Thanks in advance.

    • I ordered a PS3 controller from ozgameshop ages ago (for $48, btw, hence why I don't consider this deal a bargain either). It reads DC 3.7V 300mA.

Out of interest, why do you ask?

      • @HereBobButtons, thanks for that, but as you said this was ages ago so I am still waiting for the OP's response to see which one they got. I am not sure what the difference would make but the 3.7V 300mA ones are older so probably less advanced. The newer PS3 consoles come with the 5V 500mA controllers. I got both, 300mA came with a PS3 120GB console I bought 2 years ago, and a 500mA came with a 320GB console which I bought recently.

        • So the only difference is that newer controllers can hold more charge, right?

    • Sorry buddy i wouldn't have a clue. I just bought the xbox controller. My friends was thinking of getting the PS3 controller from HN for $58 so i told him he could get it cheaper from Ozgameshop in about 4 days and i thought i would let the ozbargain community know as well if they didn't already. I guess you could always just email the store if you wanted to know. Anyway "notout50" put up a link to ausgamez.com where its 48.85 but you'll have to ask him about the delivery waits and which one it is.

  • Xbox controller 360 Wireless(for both XBOX and WINDOWS):
    http://www.ozgameshop.com/xbox-360-accessories/microsoft-xbo…

    is that official xbox controller?
and it has the adjustable dpad?

    • Yes its an official xbox controller.
No it does not have the adjustable D-pad. (I think only the silver controllers that are bundled with the charge kit and the special painted ones have the adjustable D-pad)

Very nice deal, btw thanks i never knew that site even existed. Just proves, you learn something new everyday. amirite?

      • +1

True, I just found out about it via ozbaragin too. No neg from me :)

  • Does the wired 360 controller work fine on PC?

  • If this is shipped from the UK (as the delivery information says it is), then how is it better than this offer by auzgames.com: http://www.ausgamez.com/product.php?id_product=1442 ? Not intending to downvote the deal, just asking!

    • The auzgames one is also from the UK.
I guess you're right, though I'd still go for ozgameshop, that other site looks a bit cheap.
I bet their controllers are the chinese ones.

      • I've read reviews from Aus Gamez and it seems as though it's run very similar to Ozgameshop. Seem pretty legit and quality products.

    • +1

Thats a good question kechi. My answer: i had no idea that site existed until today. However, i still trust ozgameshop more because i've had a good experience shopping with them before(i've had fast deliveries so far), and i'm hoping that wont change anytime soon. I'm going to try out ausgamez with their Tekken6 for 22.80 and see how speed of service compares with ozgameshop, i hope it does well. Anyway, i'll update you guy with the info.

  • Game uk and amazon had the xbox controller for 20gbp (about $30aud) delivered just before christmas and that still wasn't that great…
