I might add that to the description for those who prefer not to own things 😌

      • For sure bro

or who already have Netflix and will get this for "free"

      • +1

Technically you still don't own the movie if you purchase a physical copy.
You purchase the "license" to watch the film and there are still restrictions to his license, eg. can't playback disc in a public place etc.

Great little film that also happened to win Best Picture!

      Definitely deserved it

      • Agree.

… Though, I can't forget the controversy it attracted at that years' ceremony.

        • What was the controversy?

      • Certainly a very good movie, and while I had no problem with it winning the best picture Oscar, I thought it wasn't the strongest field that year. Not that there weren't some good movies in there (I really enjoyed Vice and BlackKlansman, in particular), but there wasn't really a standout among them. Also some bizarre nominations like Black Panther, which wasn't even the best Marvel movie that year, let alone best picture. If it had been a year later and up against the 2020 best picture field (Parasite, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, Joker, Ford v Ferrari etc), I think Green Book would have had a tougher time of it.

Solid drama with good amount of humour!

  • Price is $16 for me atm. Missed it. Good flick

  • People still buy discs these days for movies ?

    • +1

I buy for big budget movies that I think I will watch again and again. Disney's recent animations are an example.

This movie, althought quite good, I'm probably not going to rewatch.

  • TIL he was born Mahershalalhashbaz Gilmore. Thanks, OP.

  • Love this film!

  • Very good movie but not quite up to the movie it styled itself on (sort of). If you haven't seen it do yourself a favour and buy/watch "The Intouchables."

Don't give up your day job nub - unless it's as an amateur movie reviewer or wannabe comedian.

    • What?
