Two great games, along with Battlefront

  • "EA: The Best We Could Do" Collection

*Not entirely fair on Fallen Order, was partial to that one.

    • Cant comment on squadrons but the 2020 version of BF2 is much better than the launch if that's what you are basing it on.

I've heard nothing but praise for Squadrons.

      • Improved, sure. I load it up every year based on the hype… then struggle to find a match, I find the feedback loop better in other games and ultimately get bored in a weekend.

What I'm actually alluding to is the optimism that people had when EA got the license 6 years ago. Showing my crows feet here but I'm from the generation where devs could and did get weird with the license, people took risks and and some truly amazing games came out.

Some utter garbage too, and that's fine, because they tried new things. Reflective of the license itself, I guess.

Fallen Order was genuinely good, Squadrons is pretty OK and was released at a budged price

      • Yea - Mind you, even though Squadrons could be better - it's definitely an amazing feeling to fly the Star Wars craft this way, that I haven't seen since at least the Gamecube days. So I have to give them praise for that. Then as you mention, the budget price (even the release price I mean) made it a must buy for me. Looking forward to the new Lucasarts games now that they have officially taken over.

  • Pity just Xbox and not PC also.

Kids play kids games on Xbox and I play PC haha
Wish there was more combined Xbox/PC licence when buying games through Microsoft.

  • Nice bundle, sadly already own 2/3

  • I think Steam was having a similar deal a day or two ago?
