  • Price in title please

  • Price? what is the bargain?

  • It is $499

  • +1

Is there a comparison available between this and other popular brands of similar specs

    • The other popular brands are only about 30km rang and 25km/hr speed.

  • Yes, our item is 14.4Ah battery, up to 50km range, 35km/hr speed. The xiaomi one is only 30km range, 25km/hr speed.

    • +2

The information you are providing about your product is not even consistent:
      From the advert above:
      "and 50km Range!"
"delivers up to 45km of travel"
      "Battery Capacity 13 Ah
…Up to 45km long -range battery life"

Seems estimates are the same as often seen for adverts for Chinese-tourch-lumens or Chinese-solar-panel-output.

      • *Up to - when rider ride down hill in free-wheel mode.

    • +1

Which australian state is this legal in? My understanding is QLD legal max speed is 25 km/hr

  • +1

If you're going to say 50km range at least make it consistent - the listing states 45km twice (not that either of these are realistic in real world usage)

  • +1

    I’m actually tempted by this.

Do you ship from inside Australia?
How does the 5 year warranty work?

    • +1

Yes, we are in brisbane. if the scooter has the problem, we can fix it for free within 5 years.

  • +2

    Is there a max weight?

    • 130kg

  • max load 100kg?

    • 130kg

  • You cant ride these legally in NSW footpaths. Has the legislation caught up yet?

    • -8

      Yes it is legal

this looks exactly the same as the Xiaomi Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2 i got a few weeks ago, even the specs are similar ( if you hack the firmware on the Xiaomi to get it to 35km/hr

    • Yes, it is very similar!!!!!!! but xiaomi pro 2 is about $1000

      • +2

        649

  • no brand name = parts sourcing in question.
might be cheap now until you need to replace something

    • It is PickPro

      • +1

        Who?

        • we will replace it.

    • You won’t need to replace anything within the next Five years dude.

      • +2

brakes and wheels won't need to be replaced?
also website seems to have been registered from the 08/2/21
who's to say they will be around in five years to honour their home warranty?

        • Havent you ever watched The Flintstones? 😂

      • notsureifsrs.png

      • +1

We will do. we are local supplier of the scooter for 3 years, start to do B2C business recently.

  • How does she fair with 100kg up steep hill?

    • There's a relatively clear low - mid - high selection for e-scooters. Hills will always be the achilles heel of the low end range like this one - you'll still need to kick but it should get you up. My first scoot was a Segway ES4 which I would feel to be somewhat comparable to this.

  • Solid Tyres or Air tyres..
Are they same size and and type as Xiaomi (Which are terrible as I went through 3 in less than 1 year)

    • Air tyres

  • Still waiting for Vic laws to catch up before buying an electric scooter :(

  • +2

Just fixed something that looks just like that, was bought from a guy in Brisbane who fixes scooters and resells for a couple of hundred.. lasted a few months before it broke again.

Advantage of it being it was easy to get parts for it, being a Xiaomi clone there was a ton of stuff that fits. Problem turned out to be water got in to the dash, only sealed with glue and no protection on the connectors underneath unlike on the genuine ones. Cleaned the connectors and it was fine again, replaced rear broken fender with a kit of Xiaomi and its like new again.

It was not supposed to have no app however like many of these clones it worked with some of the apps from LebiTec, tried several until finding the one that fully worked.

Not saying this is the same, but being a clone you can at least generally get parts. That said I wouldn't be paying $499 for this when you can get a real Pro 2 for $699 and less quite frequently, and have a real warranty…. especially as half the specs are contradictory and the advise given by the seller above about legality is just wrong. Lots of aftermarket support for firmware's and hacks on the real ones, basically nothing on the clones other than pot luck.

The xiaomi pro2 is about $1000.

  • +1

no logo and app remote control

So it has a bluetooth control app or not?

Shock-absorbing tires for a smoother ride

    Tubeless/solid/slime filled or Air tyres?

  • Air tyres

  • So, comparatively speaking these seems like a pretty good deal for the specs and 5 year warranty?

Anything else of similar spec is minimum $200 more with no local warranty?

    • Yes, this is only for this week deal.

  • Is it rear whe drive or front wheel?
    Cruise control feature?

    • front wheel and Yes it has Cruise control.

  • Limited Stock and deal.

  • These are the same model as the Beam Scooters in some major cities. it'd be a safe bet for parts over the next few years at least.

  • This is the unique model on aus market, the other model will not reach the performance.
