Yeah, with the exception of the Myer flagship store I don't think many of the other stores have been renovated in decades. It's like going back in time.
Net income for Myer last quarter = $98.4m loss.
10% bonus to help claw back the 20% "MYER markup" still leaves you 10% out of pocket.

Assuming Myer doesn't go bust before that time. Once JobKeeper ends, I can see Myer struggling when the next round of shutdowns hit.
Bought it. The value + bonus value was available almost straight away, I didn't have to wait 48 h, which is good.
I just bought $200 this evening but check the balance online has no bonus.
I bought mine during business hours. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.
Hopefully it shows up, otherwise the girl at the register said to contact Woolworths after 48 hours if the bonus value isn't there.
yeah i wonder how to check.. i was about to spend it but it shows only $100 balance…. when i can get the extra $10??
@sillywing: I'm not sure about that. I bought a few cards. One showed $55 within 5 min of purchasing it. The others I didn't check until 1-2 hours later. They had a single entry when I checked online, $110.
@sillywing: It should have some up when scanned. I did a self serve checkout and it came up with a message about a bonus $10.

I'm curious to know about the consistency of the bonus value deals for if I buy gift cards in the future. I was a bit worried about it because I haven't bought gift cards with bonus value before.
I purchased a $200 one and when I checked about an hour later the extra $20 was there.
I phurchased $200 card yesterday just checked now balance is $200, will contact Woolworths later.
So strange that sometimes it works and others not.
Contacted Myer and Woolworths, they already got many calls regarding this issue, seems like they'are going to add bonus on once send pictures of card and activation slip to them.
Not a good way, should be done automatic for all cards activated at Woolies without bonus, some customers might never realise missing value.
Especially as they are valid for 3 years. People forget after a while.
I checked it now the 10% was added, it is 20 hours after I purchased the card.
Hmm 10% bonus and get 3 points per dollar on my Amex, or buy $100 GC from Myer on my Mastercard at 0.5 points/dollar and get $10 credited back to my statement …
