Wow, I wonder how stable that type of mount is?
You might need your 50% saving to pay the fine for blocking the view of your rear licence plate. Or maybe you get enhanced savings because the red-light camera didn't get a clear shot as you went through the intersection. The lower support might interfere with quite a few licence plates on various models of car.
The bikes would obscure them anyway so you are required to add an extra plate in front of the bikes regardless…

These things are crap, they damage your car… Get one that attaches to a towbar instead…
The 50% off won't go anywhere near what a panel beater will charge you to remove dents and repspray…
Not every car has a towbar so this can still be cost-effective, particularly for smaller cars.
I've got one and stopped using it after scratches and a dent on two cars. It places too much pressure on the panels and the padded bits don't protect enough
I had one of these on a VN Commodore taking two bikes from northern NSW to Brisbane. By the time we got there the duco where the rack attached had warped / wrinkled. It didn't flake off but it looked unsightly.
Is this an instore price only? As the website shows the price as $129.99.
I thought it was 2 bike racks :(
