  I have often wondered if this stuff is actually 2-ply or not.

  The marketing says "at least 35% thicker vs 2 ply", I don't think I have actually seen them declare how many ply this is.

  My follow up thought is, does it matter how many ply it is if that ply is thicker than multiples of said ply?

  I know this is fairly soft paper, but it seems to rip easily, which makes me wonder if in fact there is a benefit to having multiple ply, even when each ply is thinner.

  Has the quality improved at all? I haven't used this Kleenex TP in over 2 years because it easily tears (fingers poke through) and switched to quilton
