Ethiopia Yirgacheffe
Unique flavour notes which make for an unusual but beautifully refined cup, characterised by strong citric acidity, sweet chocolate, and floral/herbal notes of lavender, jasmine, bergamot & hops. A pleasingly exotic washed coffee – this Ethiopian holds all the characteristics we love about a washed Yirgacheffe. It is clean, sweet, and strikingly complex.

Papua New Guinea
Creamy, silky body, sparkling apple juice like bright acidity, sweetens as it cools with stone fruit, chocolate flavours with a yogurt-like tangy mouthfeel.

  • I tried the Ethiopia Sidamo from a previous promotion and don't recommend at all! The beans themselves were very hard and the grinder struggled.

    • what grinder are you using?

      • +1

        breville smart grinder

    • Hi Skilly,
Please email us at [email protected] with your order details and more info and well be more than happy to help :).

      Kind Regards

Ethiopia Sidamo beans are generally roasted light to exhibit the fruity tones, which does mean the beans are less brittle, making them a little bit tougher to grind.
      Hope this helps :)

Had the exact same thing happen with my Breville Smart Grinder Pro - completely jammed the machine within seconds. No damage (I think) luckily.

Would not recommend if you have this grinder.

      • Order just arrived and have given the PNG a go with the Breville Smart Grinder on an espresso setting. Still dialling in but so far two shots have made it through without much issue (inner burr on 4, outer burr on 16 and 14)

Shots ran slightly fast but still tasted amazing! Can't go wrong at this price.

Ethiopia Yirgacheffe is one of my favourite blends. I was disappointed when my local bean supplier said they've ran out of their stock

Thanks for the feedback! It is worth a try then.

      • I think so. I tried another Ethiopian blend (can't remember the name) but it was like night & day after the Yirgacheffe. It was a bad tasting blend for my palette and was very disappointed after having such high expectations set by the Yirgacheffe blend on Ethiopian coffee.

What kind of roast are they?

    • Hi Krnjoejoe,
The Yirgacheffe is a lighter roast and the PNG is a medium roast.

      Hope this helps
