Holding out for a good S5 Max deal sub $550
I've got the S5 Max. Is it better than the S6? I'm finding it hard to keep up to date with each new model honestly.
Apparently better than the standard s6 pure for its larger water tank
Oh great. Thanks for letting me know. My place is all tile and hardwood, so I'll wait for another S5 Max deal for downstairs.
The S5 Max has firmware for upstairs/downstairs now but it isn't convenient, and having two would be a handy backup.
@OzzyBrak: Huh the S5m always had multiple floor and what's not convenient of picking up the roborock take it to the other level and pushing the start button. When it's finished it comes back to where it started
@DoesntEvenMatter: It is, the instructions when I got mine weren't that clear about multi floor but got the hang of it after a couple of cleans.
Pretty happy cos I've come from a iLife V7s that had lasted 2.5 years. Happy that a vacuum would last that long to be honest.
@DoesntEvenMatter: At $500 I'd rather have two honestly. 1 click from the app, and a backup in case one fails at some point.

Four weeks and it still hasn't been posted. Not happy
They posted it to me, 3 week later we found out AusPost lost the package for some reason. We contacted Apu and AusPost and they are investigating this, it's been another 2 weeks and we still havent heart back from ApuWorld despite multiple email and message to ask them the current status. It's terrible experience.
That's awful. Did you end up hearing anything back? It's been nearly six weeks for us, it was supposed to have been posted a week ago express post but still nothing has arrived
@VeryHungaryCat: Nope, i sent them a lot of emails and sms in WhatApp without replied. I end up called my bank to ask them to dispute the purchase yesterday.
Just got an S5 Max the other day… good gracious it's an amazing machine. I was shocked at how good robot vacuums have become in the last 8 or so years. The last one I had was junk, that was in no way "smart" or effective at cleaning.
The Roborocks are very very smart and very effective at cleaning.
Probably down to the Laser navigation. My old one was an iLife V7s and only had the slam into other things navigation, so by the end I had to use the remote control just to follow it around.
Thoroughly impressed with the S5 Max and multi floor capacity too. Won't upgrade for a few years, wait til good prices on the laser+camera options, and the new làser robot vacuums that empty their own bins out.
