Hasn't this sold for as low as $325 in the recent past? I am on the lookout for one but not at this price.. at $325 I will pick one up.
Yep, brought it for 370 something after TGG ebay store had a 1 day sale and I saw it for $345 - guy was able to give me some discount in store.
Can say its awesome bit of kit for the price
Does anyone have this and can provide some feedback?
I'm deciding between this and the Sonos Beam.
Mainly watch Netflix and listen to songs. Want something clearer and better sound quality than my current $100 Samsung soundbar.
Get some edifiers or something.
I wouldn't buy a soundbar for anything, let alone listening to music.
This! Nothing against this product but a 2.1 would be better. I moved from a Yamaha 207 to an Edifier S350DB and couldn't be happier. The sound quality is so much better and refined. Keep in mind that there will be a few sacrifices to account for with Edifier S350DB like no ARC and no inbuilt Alexa integration like this soundbar. But if sound quality matters the most to you, then you will be pleasantly surprised with S350DB.
No DTS or HDMI
I got a beam recently on 100day trial direct from Sonos. Wasn’t sure if it would be better than my budget 3.1 Yamaha separate system. It is way clearer, more than enough bass for movies in family home and like not having the separate remote. So the Yamaha is packed up and heading to gumtree.
So you chose the Sonos Beam over the Yamaha YAS 209?
I had a Yamaha separate system ie amp/speakers/sub. Understand your comment and I was giving my impression of the beam. I haven’t tried the YAS209.
Do you mind me asking how much was it?
Do you have to go directly through Sonos for the 100 day trial?
Got it during Black Friday sales. Just search past Ozbargain posts to see prices it has been. Yes, you need to buy through Sonos for 100day trial.
In case anyone has access it is $433 @ GoodGuys Commercial.
Can anyone who has access to the JB HiFi staff discount tell me how much this is?
Looks like this doesn't support Dolby Atmos. Unfortunately this generation DTS has gone out of favour unlike the FullHD Blu Ray gen where everything was DTS:HDMA
