Yes was $599 just a week ago. Probably because the mini 2 is quite a bit better.

  But the Mavic Mini is still a great introductory drone. Had mine about a year and no problems at all.

    I sold my mini as I had too many high wind warnings and loss of signal. Other than that it was a good drone.

      Yeah the wind is an issue I guess. Had to have fairly calm conditions. I reckon I had the loss of signal a couple of times and panic set in. Overall it wasn't too bad.

        @khrome: Almost lost my drone in Thailand due to high winds and loss of signal. Is by far the worst of the drone but at the price imo mini 1 is a better buy as long as you know the capabilities.

        @Nand0sx: So true. I use an app to tell me wind speeds at my location but you can generally tell even if you just put it up a few feet if it's too windy.
