  • nice…
they just keep giving away $ :)

  • This could be limited to the initial number of cards as it says "Your credit card will only be charged when the minimum sales target is reached"

    • +3

You don't need to put a credit card in. Just leave it blank and tick the boxes.

      • thanks - Still puzzled at the following message when you confirm:

As soon as the Deal reaches 10 buyers the Deal will become active, your credit card will be charged, and you’ll receive your voucher and receipt which will be sent to your registered email

        • your card doesn't get charged at all, leave those details blank… You need at least 10 people to make this deal 'active'. Once the 10th person gets the deal, the first 9 people who signed up for the deal, will receive their voucher too…

  • I'm only seeing offers for macarons and cakes… Could it be down already?

    • click on the shopwise link

      • okay, weird. it wasn't working on the mobile site. anyways… move along, move along…

  • +1

I didn't see my local Stockland, its either been 'Ozbargained' or possibility too stingy to give away free money.

  • I now have 8x$50 vouchers and 4x$10 at the Traralgon Stocklands, total cost to be $200, value $440

    • From last weeks deal and this. my family has 16x $10 free gift cards. Thanks to the OZB community!

  • Got one thanks. Note that this card has short expiry: 31/01/12, unlike the $50 for $25 deal.

    • They want you to start spending as soon as possible. Happy spending!

  • +1

Your a champion! If I got one for all my alter-egos I'd have $80 worth of vouchers :)

  • So you redeem the giftcard at a specific stocklands…are you then able to use that giftcard at any stocklands?

    • +2

You collect the giftcard at a specific Stockland. You can spend it at a participating retailer at any Stockland.

  • Only the 'holder' of the voucher is allowed to redeem. They have name printed on the voucher and you'll need to show your ID to redeem. That was my experience in Baulkham Hills. They didn't allow me to redeem on behalf of hubs. Sux!

    • no, in sydney cbd i was able to collect 3x cards.

    • +3

Well the voucher I received says

This voucher entitles Ozpete or the holder to:

Pay Nothing for a $10 Stockland Gift Card …

OR HOLDER…. Not Ozpete AS holder.

In my case I picked up one for Mrs Ozpete at the same time

    • I picked up 5, all under different family names. It was not a problem at all. I just gave them the 5 papers and they handed over 5 $10 vouchers and I was on my way.

      • It depends who's at the counter at the time. The first time I went to stocklands I was allowed to redeem a few cards at once and they didn't ask for ID. The second time I went back there was a different person at the counter and they asked me for ID. I had to argue with them a bit but they gave them to me in the end.

    • Picked up 9 gift cards on my own and they even gave me the list of names and allowed me to tick off each of my family members names and initial it. :)

  • SOLD OUT ?

    • No, only the Stocklands with the sold out sash.

  • They are starting to know me by name! Vouchers galore!

    • +1

I thought jimbo was a fan of the five finger discount!

  • +4

Stockland = money tree. Keep on growing baby.

    • Agree. Beats working for a living!

    • Even got one under my dogs name!

      • We have always had to show ID when picking up the card..

  • Like everyone else ive been grabbing these at every opportunity, picked up a couple in NSW and have just moved over to WA, I take it (hope) they can be used at any stockland once they have been collected? I'm thinking so as its just a 'stockland' gift card, so can anyone confirm this?

    • It's just a Stockland gift card.

    • The card doesn't mention a shopping centre or state, so you should be ok
Seems a lot of hassle to get the $10 cards from WA

    • Nope for WA its only Stockland Baldivis :(

  • Can we only redeem this from Baldivis in WA? This is a bit far when you live away from Rockingham!
Or we can redeem from any Stockland shopping centre?

    • Yes it has to be redeemed at the store you chose. Once you have it, it can be spent at any Stocklands.

    • You have to redeem it from your nominated shopping centre, when you go to the customer care desk they have a printed list (2 or 3 pages) of all the cards issued for that particular site.

    • Yeah I only realised this after I got the voucher :( and Stockland Baldivis has nothing really apart from a Coles.

Might schedule a trip down south to make use of my $10 voucher ala ozbargain style :D

      • Mail it and give someone a tight arse christmas present :P

    • Coles will likely not accept Stocklands gift card.

  • Can I use multiple gift cards in one purchase?

I would assume Dick Smith should accept it, right?

BTW, so busy creating new email addresses this morning :)

    • Why neg? Am I the only one applied more than one gift cards?

      • +1

well as long as you are using legitimate family member names it will be fine. if you are creating dummy accounts then that is not cool, and you will be rejected if they decide to ask for ID.

    • Just use the "dot" thing with your gmail account if your family members don't have accounts.

BTW, bigw and woolies dint accept the card.

  • The DSE at the Pines, Vic doesn't accept them, nor does Coles, Target, Woolies unfortunately, works ok for all the little stores

    • WTF !!!!

I just want to use them to buy a phone at DSE :( Let me call them.

Just called DSE Balgowlah, they said they don't WTF !!!

      • Yeah there is a list of stores on each website that tells you where it can be used. I have a printed list for Balgowlah they gave me and nothing really appeals to me except for maybe EB Games. It is mostly womens fashion, hairdressers and a few cafes.

Anyway got another 5 vouchers for there, so will have $100 to spend total.

        • -2

          How about Coles?

Do you have a link to the list?

        • Go here and select your store to get a list of where you can use the giftcards- http://www.stockland.com.au/shopping-centres/gift-cards_wher…

        • -5

nubzy, you should neg the guy up there first which have 16 plus cards.

And I am only have a few with difference family names which I just created email addresses instead of use their existing one. They clearly said that on the site either the person or the holder can collect it.

        • Superforever, you mean me???

        • superforever

Never assume that someone critical of you was also the one who voted negative… BAD assumption

        • kiwipride, don't know who neg me :p

          ozpete, yes you are right.

      • Coles not included. see the link videoman posted.

        • Saw it and no junk food stores there.

      • You get something for free and you are still bitching about it? Way to go.

  • -1

During the last promotion when I went there to pick up 1 gift card. I saw the guy in front of me came out with a stack of cards I think should have more than 20 :p

  • +2

what's the bet that they're going to start regulating this like crazy.
because of you guys who go overboard and are like OMG I CAN BUY A TV FOR FREE.
then when they decide you can only use one gift card per transaction, the rest of us who have actually redeemed gift cards for our family members will be the ones who suffer.

    • -1

I have tried to look for the term, where did it say one gift card per transcaction?

      Found it here http://www.stockland.com.au/shopping-centres/gift-cards_6437…

It didn't say one gift card per transaction and also because you can buy gift card yourself why they would limit one per transaction?

      • NO where.

      • +1

they don't say one per transaction, that's just an example of what they might do when people are turning up to their retailers and using 60 gift cards to get a free tv. they do realise that you got the $10 gift cards for free (why else would you have that many?), and i doubt they will be alright with it.

another thing that might happen is that most retailers start refusing gift cards completely. what will you do about that? there's no terms and conditions saying that a store has to accept it, only this:
        http://www.stockland.com.au/assets/shopping-centres/Baulkham…

and once you go and abuse it, what's the bet that most of those retailers will be gone from that list in the january update? seriously, don't ruin it for everyone else.

      • To me, I think it is like they set the rules, we play the game. They can always change the rules, we will stop playing the game. Simple. :)

        • Well said. Makes checking the OZB site all the time worthwhile.

      • There is a limit of ONE VOUCHER per person.
See the t&c at Our Deal.

  • +1

I dont think anyone will be getting a free tv. No electronics store accepts these voucher from what I have seen so far.

and anyone that rorts the system is just a dick. it ruins it for everyone…

just play by the rules and use legitimate names and you can pick them all up and use them yourself

    • Isn't that what we are doing?

    • JB HiFi in Merrylands NSW accept them & the last I checked they do sell electronics.
Because I used the cards as part payment to buy a Motorola Xoom last week.

      • Yeah JB is on the list of Stockland Merryland, thanks for the information.

BTW, you said "used the cards" so you have used more than one? How many they accept per transaction?

        • I used 9 all up 5 * $50 & 4 * $10 in one transaction

      • thought you could only use one voucher a time? and not use collectively for greater dollar value??

        • nah you can use as many as you like. they are just like any other gift voucher, I was told this by stockland.

  • Again I missed the Glen Iris vouchers. Well played fellow members.

    • Where have you been? It's been days. Sorry you missed out dude.

  • my sister went to picadilly one, no store would accept them except for the suit stores! so it sounds more like a $10 discount (which is quite pathetic if you're buying a suit) than a $10 voucher. lol

    • at Point Cook (VIC) the vast majority of stores accept it. Just not the biggies like Coles/Target/Aldi.

I got a great new Saute Pan from Harris Scarfe!

  • From another point of view it's a rebate on the rent given by Stockland to their tenants, as well as an inducement to shoppers. Bricks and mortar retailers are rather glum at the moment as consumers are battening down the hatches.

  • Cards refused at Golo Glendale and Redlea at Wallsend Stockland.
Both were shown on their list of accepting merchants.

I pitty anyone who has purchased one of the Stockland gift cards, they're worthless! They should be exchanged for cash by Stockland if they are no longer acceptable at the listed stores.

    Very poor effort Stockland.

Also see Dorothi 3 posts above has experienced the same rejection and embarassment1

    • I think its only the really big stores that don't accept the cards and thats because they don't want competition for their own cards/promotions, not because they are concerned about free cards been given away on the internet.
