            @skido: I was one of their backers and cancelled my order of numerous issues - shipping delays, poorly designed motorhead , display screen comes off when protective film is removed and lack of support/resolution. According to Indiegogo website, Dreame has been removing negative feedback from their social media platforms.

              @Prav: THEY ARE. I legit just got it like 2 days ago and they still havnt sent us the additional packages that we've gotten. They have also been selling the T20's on amazon and such on black friday and those people got their vacuum within weeks while the backers have to wait forever. (i ordered early september and got it on jan 21)

            @skido: Apparently the cable doesn't flex enough inside so it becomes loose. There's instructions on how to fix it on a German xiaomi website. Mine is still working, touch wood.

            Their one got delivered like 1-2 weeks ago via Australia Post.

                No issues so far. Be careful peeling the glass display pad sticker off that felt somewhat flimsy.

                Would have preferred to buy from gearbite as I’m concerned if there is an issue we are screwed with support services…price you pay for not wanting to wait.

          Yeah, it’s pretty good. I’m happy with it and had it a while now. I still use the Miele C3 Family for proper cleaning every so often but the Xiaomi daily.

    I took the plunge and ordered these last time they were on sale (just after Christmas) - as someone who a decade ago didn't understand why people were nuts about Dysons… until I purchased one then became one of the converted who'd buy nothing but, I was interested to see how these'd perform .. plus my mum needed a new vacuum cleaner so the timing was perfect.

    Have to say I was VERY impressed with this model - and I reckon the heads / accessories are designed better than the Dysons. The pieces click together much smoother, and have a better "feel" to them (don't feel as lose, plasticey, clickey - a bit hard to describe). My older Dyson stick vacs come with the wall mount charger - which relies on the AC adapter cord connecting to the vacuum, however the mount with these has its own contact points built into it, so the AC adapter connects to the wall mount - and when the cleaner is docked it automatically starts charging. I found this better designed than the Dyson models - and again the accessories tend to clip to the wall mount better than the Dyson equivalent. Only downside to ordering an extra head is that it hasn't anywhere to go on the wall mount.

    The carpet / smooth floor heads themselves are designed well - one thing I hate about my Dyson heads are that the suction opening is underneath them, so often larger items will be pushed by the head rather than sucked up. These heads are designed with the opening at the front and underneath, so anything the head is being pushed into will be sucked up, and not just pushed along. Plus the openings / flow paths are all quite large compared to my Dyson heads, so there's less likelihood of larger items getting stuck or jammed.

    Did the old "used the old vacuum first (which was a VAX piece of crap), then used this over the top on some carpet in one of the bedrooms, and the amount of fine dirt / dust / sand / whatever that this pulled out was significant).

    If my Dyson's do ever die (or when they do), I wouldn't hesistate in the slightest to buy one of these or a newer model. They "feel" a bit bigger than my Dyson sticks, but the build quality and just general "feel" to them I think is much better. Only slight annoyance is the fact they're all white - so any dirt you get on the vacuum will show (but can be easily wiped off).

    Hope this helps some people decide whether to buy this or not :)

      It is suitable. While the soft roller head is better at picking up fine dust off hard floors, I find the carpet head is better at picking up larger particles. I often use the carpet head on my hard floors despite having the option of the roller.

    These are brilliant. Have bought 9 in total from Gearbite. One for work and one for home and the rest for my staff and customers (No, I didn't pay for theirs).

    The only issue so far with these is the inability to change the HEPA filter easily. They are glued to the top connector. I have tried to source an extra filter top connector but cannot find stock anywhere (including all shops on Aliexpress)

    Rep, any chance of stocking these connectors, or showing us how to easily replace the filters?

      Dyson V10 battery last a bit longer and sucks a bit stronger, this Dreame V9 probably similar to Dyson V8. (I only have Dyson V10 and this one).

    Have had my T20 for a couple of weeks now (got it through the indiegogo campaign) and love it! Crazy quiet compared to my old Dyson V6. Build quality feels great, looks waaaayyyy better than the v6/v7 dysons, don't know what the newer ones look like.
