Will be region locked with no warranty.
It will only vacuum Hong Kong apartments? :P
region lock only applies to units with Mainland China’s Serial numbers. HK units aren’t locked.
Can someone (or you @rackxp) screenshot this via the commercial site and upload here? I have an X40 on order with GG and they are happy to swap out and price match if I can show evidence of the X50 at that price. I asked them to login via their means on my behalf but they said they couldn’t.
Drop me a PM eith your email address. I can share the invoice.
Hi, did GG just accepted for you to upgrade? Or need to make up an issue to get it changed?
How do these compare to cheaper models, say Tapos? Just curious. I am sure this price level gets you a so much better product, but what are the main advantages of buying a 2k vac vs a 400-500 dollar vac? Asking for a friend.
The 'hands-free' experience & better cleaning. This charging station will empty the dust, clean the mopping pads, refill the water and clean the baseboard. The cheaper units will not do all this, most they will do is auto empty.
These will normally clean better with more suction, extending brushes & mopping pads to get to corners and better brush designs.

3/20 on robot wars rankings https://vacuumwars.com/best-vacuum-cleaners/robot-vacuums/ so its very good.
Used Dreame x40 ultra for 2-3 months before it stopped working and was returned to goodguys for full refund. Initial experience was great, kids were excited to see the vacuum and mop robot running in the house. No issues with the vacuum, does great job. But mop is not good for a timber floor. Basically the dirt on the floor stays on the floor, mop pads don't use the water continuously, hence if there is a dust or mud anywhere, it will be spread over the floor until the unit goes back to the main unit for cleaning the mop pads. In about 2 months of usage, we had a thick layer of dust/mud slowly slowly accumulated. Floor looked cleaned but the floor color started getting darker day by day. Floor was shining after every mop but i knew something is wrong as the floor color was getting changed.
Then we bought Narwal S20 pro. On first usage, we were shocked to see when that layer got taken off. Night and day difference in floor colour. Of course there is a manual work to roam around the house for cleaning instead of automatic robot, but cleaning is at totally different level.
We can never go back to robot mop until any new robo mop comes with using continues water to clean the mop.
Agreed! I just posted a similar comment. They are coming, see Ecovacs Deebot X8 Pro Omni. But I'll wait for a Roborock or Dreame equivalent.
Eufy S1 Pro?
I have the Eufy S1 pro. The roller mop has continually clean water added to it, and the dirty roller is continuously squeegeed and stored on board until it’s emptied. I have shiny porcelain tiles and honestly it does a better of job than I do with a hand mop. It also has a cleaning solution that is Auto added to the water.
For vacuuming, hard surfaces it’s adequate, but it isn’t so great on deep cleaning carpets. But if you have hard floors and need regular mopping, this one’s a game changer. Also, doesn’t mop completely to the edge so you’ll have to do that once in a while manually, but it’s a small price to pay.
I'm now convinced that the robot vac mop worth waiting for is one with roller mop instead of mop pads.
Seeing the Ecovacs Deebot X8 Pro Omni outperform the others because the roller instantly can be cleaned during operation, meaning that unlike these mop pads that are simply dragging dirt around.
That said this isn't an advert for Ecovacs, as I think the Roborock is far better at navigation. So I'll wait for next year's iterations. On this, Roborock has released 15 models within the last year (this is not an exaggeration, actual real number). So I am confident they'll have bargains around soon enough as that's completely unsustainable.
This seems to have been removed right before I've gone to buy. If anyone has a screenshot of receipt I'd really appreciate it
Can get one from HongKong for $1600. That saves you $400 to pay for the flight.
