The ATH-ANC500BT QuietPoint® wireless over-ear headphones use proprietary active noise-cancelling technology to provide a comfortable listening environment in areas with high ambient noise. They also feature Bluetooth® wireless technology and have a mic and button controls built into the left earcup for convenient handling of calls, music playback and volume adjustment.

  I found the general reviews to be true - the active noise cancelling is pretty much useless, and the pressure it exerts on the ears gets uncomfortable quite quickly. Would advise testing it out in a store first before buying, but for $99 I would spend my money on something else if given the choice.

    I am a user of other AT ANC headphone SR50BT. I also own Bose QC35 and sony 1000XM2. Some people like me prefer the AT style NC, where the bose and sony ones cause headaches.

  Any way to work out how durable the headbands on these things are? I'm after something that will last at least a few years with daily use

          @rifter: I would prefer a steel band like many headphone sused to have but seem invisible in the BT ANC headphone market
