@skido: The more we buy into google, the more they are becoming apple. Not even being able to get all gesture features with third party launchers for going on 1.5 years now, barely any decent sales, high prices, locked in pixel features etc etc. Fairly said, at least apples hardware is worth the cost.
Same. Tried every possible angle with JB today to no avail. Why have the pixel gods forsaken us?
These look great and sound better than the samsung buds. I recommend it even with the price difference.

QC on is a bit iffy on these if you believe the Pixel subreddit so might be a bit of a gamble (could also just be selection bias though)..
They don't really seem to go on sale often at all though so might be worth jumping on these while they are.

Just so you know, they are different styles of buds, so you can't really compare. Also almost double the price of the buds live.
Does the translation feature work well? Especially with non Pixel Android?
Had these buds 3 months ago. Wouldnt recommend.
Hardware looks fine, but the firmware was buggy as.
Unparing constantly to reconnect again, desync audio between L and R, buzzy noise on the back randomly.
I had a pair of these that were not exactly great and sent them back to Google.
They drop out a lot and it can be very disorienting with sound dropping on each ear.
Next to impossible to have a conversation with them as well.
Great idea to pair with Pixel phones, just not there yet with quality.
I ended up with some Sony ones that actually sound better, especially with bass.Received mine 2 days ago and already refunding it. Absolute trash and audio constantly cut in and out. Tend to occur when using both buds and more prevalent when outdoor. Appear to be very susceptible to interference. Paired with Pixel 4 XL. Stay well away from this garbage.
Sounds like these aren't exactly as good as they could have been, looking at the comments.
Thinking jaybird Vista could be ok, apparently no high quality Bluetooth codecs so no idea how they sound. Pretty solid otherwise I think. Not sure why the grey ones are much cheaper than Black.
I'm also hunting Pixel 5 deals + gift card exploits but to no avail
