Great news, new shipments from Origin arrive at the port in January. We've managed to get our hands on some more wonderful coffee from Peru. Last deal we had for this back in October, sold out in about 2 hours!!! This exquisite coffee is rightfully loved by many and the one we've had the most requests to offer again. As a welcome back/hello 2021 party we're offering 50% off Fresh Peru Single Origin Coffee 1kg $19.38 (Was $38.75) 1kg or 500g Bag Options, Flat Rate Shipping $6.99 @ Lime Blue Coffee. Please note 500g packaging with the discount will cost an additional $3 per kg due to the extra cost of the bag, label and additional packing time.

  • Just bought kilo number five. They have been timing these deals really well for when we have almost finished the previous bag and Apple Pay makes it almost too easy. Very fresh with quick postage in biodegradable packaging. Delicious and varied each time - omni roast highlights the unique flavours. Handy brewing notes on the bag too. Highly recommended!

  • I use a Delter press. Would you recommend whole beans (and use my hand grinder; which I'd rather not if one of the others would do), ground espresso or ground filter? Thanks

      Not OP but would always recommend grinding fresh. You can then tweak the grind setting to taste. If you don't care too much about the minutiae, go for filter. Espresso grind is too fine for delter/aeropress - you'll get a very over extracted bitter flavour with lots of sediment.

    • Nice question, if you change your mind about using the hand grinder that will be the ultimate flavour winner, otherwise ground filter will be the next best thing for you :)

    Is there any chance that the Moments To Memories would make a come back? Probably my favourite of all the blends so far!
    And would you consider these beans to be on the fruity side of the flavour profile? I ordered the Colombia Single Origin, but it's a little too fruity for me.

    • Not OP, but OP's previous comments; responding to coffee flavour 'strength' were:

      "South Central will work with milk slightly better. Keep in mind they both have hints of fruits and floral aromas, also both works really well enjoyed black and work nicely as milk based coffees"

    • It's not currently on the table, but anything is possible in the future and we haven't shut the door completely on the possibility of it coming back one day.

      It's wonderful to know that Moments to Memories has been your all time favourite, woohoo to that milestone!!!

      I really appreciate your feedback, this SO is similar to the Colombia in terms of level of fruity aroma. Please send us an email when you have the time and we'll let you know if Moments makes a come back or something similarly to your taste preference :)

  • I've made a few orders from these guys now, and every time the coffee is great, the price is affordable, the customer service is top notch and they'll accommodate any requests you have (e.g. delaying roasting until future dates). Really impressed, they're my current go-to and can't recommend them enough.

      Same here. Its sendle, they're #$%^ing useless. I keep forgetting to check with suppliers who they deliver through, so it's my fault I guess. I defs won't order if its via sendle

        Great news is, we've been trialing the same shipping technology Coles, Nike, Temple & Webster…all use, Shipit, results are so far immensely better than Sendle, if they keep up then we'll likely 100% shift away from Sendle, if not we'll keep looking for a better shipping solution :)

      • We do appreciate your valuable and candid feedback, every single experience of every day we use to provide a better experience (well at least we try to…customers are the real ones who can say whether we achieve this or not). Sendle started out working really well. However, ever since Black Friday sales they've been pushing more and more parcels to Fastway and the quality of their service has rapidly declined. As mentioned in a previous comment we're looking to make the shift to Shipit for most of our parcels. If you do decide to give us a shot in the future, an opportunity we won't take for granted, simply add an order note saying "no Sendle" and we'll gladly make that request a reality :)

    @LimeBlueCoffee thanks for the deal. This was the second time I ordered from Lime Blue, first time it was fantastic and ordered without a second thought when this deal came up. The coffee I made coffee few times this week and it has all been very very disappointing, the coffee is flat and no flavor. Even my family wouldn't drink it. I've just threw the bag out as it was that disappointing.

      It's really unfortunate you didn't enjoy your second batch from us as much, the product is the same high quality coffee just a different region, variety and profile, different coffees different flavours, different strokes different folks. I truly wish you'd reached out before throwing out the bag, so I could find out what coffee you ordered last time, how you like your coffee (black or white), then I could have potentially troubleshot the flavour remotely by tweaking the extraction ratio recipe to make the coffee closer to the profile of your first batch from us, as each of our coffee offerings has a slightly different roast profile. Could you please send us an email or direct message when you have the time?

    The coffee is very good, highly recommend this… But the delivery, not so much. Has anyone received their order yet?
    Sendle took 4 days just to pick it up, then every morning, tracking said on board for delivery today… on board for delivery today… day after day, and still no delivery. It literally would have taken less time to walk there and back, and it would have been much less frustrating if the tracking just admitted that it's delayed so I wouldn't wait at home for 3 days.

    • Update: Looks like no delivery today either, and tomorrow's a public holiday. Beans probably getting baked in the heat by now.
      Not the coffee company's fault though, I'd gladly order again… just not through Sendle.

    I’m new to coffee making trying to perfect my ingredients and technique for over 6 months. I only drink long black so, without the help of milk etc bean selection becomes very important. I have been trying different beans and roast types. I ordered this and got it several days ago. I’m quite happy with the medium roast Peru beans. Delivery was also very prompt and packaging is good. I left it on the bench while it was wet but my coffee is still dry, lucky!!!. I will try several other bean types before I settle on a bean but this one I really liked. Thanks.

          Thank you sincerely for that helpful feedback, I assure you the bag was perfect when we handed it to the Courier!

          We continually try to improve every aspect of Lime Blue Coffee to the best of our ability, including testing different satchels and boxes regularly. We used to use boxes for all order, but after discovering delivery drivers either misplaced their step ladders or mistook small boxes as step ladders (customer's kept sending us photos with squashed boxes and boot prints on the boxes), we moved to using satchels for 3kg or less quantities and boxes for larger orders. I know and appreciate it's not a "huge deal" compared with everything else happening in the world, but it is important and worth addressing, when you have the time could you please send us an email?
