  I use this for gaming. Really fast and reliable. It was cheaper before. I bought 1tb for $135 or somthing from Centrecom after cashback.

    unless you need 4TB, this SSD is way faster both read and write, and can do both at the same time without slowing down.
    500+ mb/sec read and write

    And silent and cooler running

    Did you mean NAS? If so I assume you are using it for media/storage in which case I would be prioritising capacity.

  With this price I think the time will eventually come when I completely ditch mechanical drive. I am currently have around 6tb mechanical drive.

  How long would a 6tb ssd cost under $550? Before 2025 maybe?
