It rarely go on sale. My wrist feels better than using a horizontal mouse. 'Works equally well on both Mac and Windows. Recommended for productivity work. Not recommended for gaming.

Second to this. My wrist also feels better using this mouse. After few days of using I managed to play games as good as playing with normal mouse.

      • +1

I liked it as soon as I plugged it in.
Love how you can use it plugged in or wireless. And with multiple devices.

  • Wow you're lucky, because on digiDIRECT site it says "clearance" and OW don't pb on clearance…

So these things exist for left handed people? I've always wanted one, but my right hand is pretty much useless

  • +1

I bought one and it didn't suit me. In fact probably made my condition worse. It maybe good if you use mouse sparingly but I was doing lot of drawing in Visio using mouse and the design didn't make it nimble. I wish ergonomic tech were available for rent to try first. Sold it on ebay.

    • I have RSI from intensive mouse use at work. A local retailer The Back Centre in Radelaide said i could try before i buy, take whatever brand/design home and try if for week or two and return it if it doesnt work for me and try something else. My change to a vertical mouse was recommended by a specialist occupational physio after an ergonomic assessment at my workstation. If you havent done so already, id highly recommend getting a diagonsis of the problem by a reputable medical professional first, your problem might not be the mouse, it could be a postural issue or something else altogether. While you might think an ergonomic self assessment is all you need (as i did), its amazing what a physio or occupational therapist will pick up. I can feel my RSI returning within 2-3 days of using a garden variety mouse so its clear that the change to a vertical mouse fixed my problem.

To expand on this, most people will feel discomfort using a vertical mouse until they adapt to the shape.

    • I didn't want to risk spending that much on Logitech, so I got a basic wireless one for less than $30 at Officeworks and been working well for the last 1.5 years.

Thanks OP, i havent found these on sale since covid WFH ramped up. They were $98 at OW and HN in Feb but i havent been able to find them for less than about $140 + del since then.

    "…well reviewed economic mouse…"
Bugger. I was so close. Will continue my search for a well reviewed ergonomic mouse.

      Ah you got me there..

I've got a dodgy wrist (partially torn scapholunate ligament) and I have this mouse. Works really well. Good that you can recharge it so easily (USB C). Compared to the Evoluent Vertical Mouse, it also resists oils from your hands better.

    • Sounds like you have owned an evoluent to make the comparison.

I actually find the evoluent to be pretty good ergonomics wise, this mouse looks more on an angle instead of more vertical?

      • Yes, I've had two Evoluents. They're good and would happily use again, but I didn't like that the surface material started to rub off over time (though I may have unusually corrosive fingers, since my keyboard letters often fade within a couple of years!). The fact the Logi is not as vertical can be quite useful when other people need to temporarily use your computer.

  • Hmm too bad I have the MX ergo trackball already… Worth to upgrade?

    • +2

For my own personal experience, I prefer the trackball over these, so much ergonomic and risk of wrist injury is lower too.

  • Does DigiDirect allow you to try in their stores?

At this price I still have to settle for the eBay $26 cheapo. I'm finding this one okay if just a tad small for my very large hands (XL disposable nitrite gloves will just stretch to fit my hands). It probably won't last as long as the Logitech though.

Thanks, was looking at these this week. Picked one up from OW through price match.

    • Enjoy. Its taking me a bit of getting used to.

    • No more OW Price Match because it’s now pre-order in DigiDirect. No problem pre-ordering so DD gets the money I guess!

I’ve been using a $15 vertical mouse. It’s been great for my wrist but a real pain using a KVM switch. Always drops out. So I’ll take the cheap one back to the office and keep this one at home! $15 mouse also needs a mousepad to work. Wouldn’t work on white laminated office desk.

  • A tip for Apple Magic Mouse users - switching to a less flat, more "regular" mouse may help your wrists as well.

These are great, helped a lot for my tennis elbow, used to get aggravated at the time.
You get used to it in about 10-15 mins, has been great for office applications and cad etc.
Agree not really for gaming, but don't see why not.
USB C, also only need to charge every 4 months.
