It's used for pocket hole joinery
From the Google:
A Pocket Hole is an angled hole drilled into one board, which then allows you to drill a screw through to another board. The Pocket Hole Jig makes drilling the angled hole easy. Adjustable guides and stop collar bits help with the width and depth of your hole.
Pocket holes are evil and must die. - Matthias Wandel
Steve Ramsey would like a word with you.
Yeah, he's the bastard who convinced me I needed one…
Probllem being is they are really weak and shite for most uses people put them to - they shouldnt be used for table legs and such.
Bought this in Dec for $140
Where from?
Amazon
So, I bought a pockethole jig. A fortnight ago I didn't even know they existed! But then I found them and wanted one. Thanks OP, much appreciated.
I have the mini kreg jig which I like to use but don't use it enough to justify buying the K5 even though I want it.
i have no business buying one of these, however….
Ozbargain card upgraded to platinum… hahaha

Was thinking of getting a pocket hole jig to replace my kitchen draws.
Ending up going with Blum Legrabox draw system instead.
Used the below video to work out the draw back and bottom sizes.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PNRPvXc_GPw
Went to a kitchen component cutting supplier and got the draw fronts, draw backs and draw bottoms with rebate.
The other parts come in a kit from https://www.lincolnsentry.com.au/brands/a-d/blum or https://www.wilbrad.com.au/# helps if you have a trade account.
Lot better quality than Kaboodle from Bunnings with fixed dimensions.
I'm curious to know how you worked out the dimensions and gap spacing for the fronts?
Measured and allowed a 2mm gap on all sides for drawer fronts. Shop supplied cut and edged the Laminex, more expensive than Formica but was the closest colour match.
To space out the drawer fronts in a set of 4x drawers I used a 25mm wide MDF scrap.
On that I marked out drawer front then gap, kept repeating until got to the top.
Then marked the center line of the drawer slides, transferred to the carcass.
Cut 2x more timber scraps to sit the drawer runners on.
Started with the top drawer runners, screwed those in place then cut my timber scraps for the next drawer down.
Repeated again for the next drawer, the bottom drawer runner sits on the carcass base.
Method worked well as with all the drawers fully open they line up and do not hit each other.
brilliant - thanks
Was legrabox much more expensive than tandembox?
Below is a comparison at trade prices of the Legarbox drawer I used. Can get 40kg version (not much cheaper) and different colours and sizes
Blum LEGRABOX pure K Height 128.5MM drawer 500MM Integrated BLUMOTION in Silk White 70KG $72.67
Blum TANDEMBOX antaro High-fronted Drawer B Height 135MM with Single Gallery Rail 65kg 500mm Silk White with BLUMOTION $58.59
Are these all required parts (excl melanmine panels) including the runners?
@tor: It is possible to buy the parts separately, but is recommended to buy in a kit.
Yes, runners are part of the kit.

Buy one if you are doing a jig because your money is burning a hole in your pocket
For the people asking what this does just an FYI you can get those really generic pocket hole jigs. I bought one from online (all over eBay) that had the two holes and the drill bit. Obviously won't be as handy or good but I've always found the original Kreg jigs super expensive, just cos I don't use them that much.
You'd have to be like Steve Ramsey or Glen (DIY Creators) to really get value from it in which case you'd know what it is already.
No need of this. Start drill on 180 or 0 degree then change degree to 135 or 45 degree while drilling.
No need for a drill. Just spin the drill bit in your fingers.
No need for a drill bit….
You can 3d print a simple version, files on thingiverse.
What does this actually do ?
