not sure it is 3d as the ex720 is an edge lit LED TV not LCD as advertised.

quite normal. throw in some cables and cleaning kits it be better.
$599 for the TV alone (can be less with discounts) so you're paying $200+ for the blu ray player and blu ray… not a good deal.
