  I think you missed a bit.

  "Ideal for males 14-15 and Females 14 years and over".

  That suggests that males will outgrow it very quickly.

    Size 5 is standard ball size. It's more so referring to the material of the ball, as adults that might take it more seriously would want a proper leather one. $10 for a footy to play around with isn't too bad surprisingly
