I received the same push notification, but it's not working on my oculus account.
I've lodged a support ticket, but the push notification is gone now of course and I didn't get an email for the code or anything like that.
After the push notification you should still get the code appearing at that bottom of the Oculus app when viewing a full price game.

You only get it if you bought from oculus.com, not Amazon, unfortunately…
Amazon is the exclusive distributor for Oculus in Australia. I bought mine from there and got the code.

How recently? I mean how many days after buying did you get the coupon?
Purchased in late November and started using in mid dec and just got the coupon yesterday.
Got my coupon a few days after setting it up. Maybe a week max.
Trigger might not be time based though, might be based on hours spent using it, or based on making a purchase in the app store.
Seems targeted? Can’t use on Beat Saber.
