Hmm, works out to 65c a can. How come when I order Ubereats, most places charge $4.50 for a can of Coke? Shouldn't it be like $1 or $1.50?
$4.50 is a bit excessive. Most places I’ve seen are around $3.50 on Ubereats and $2.50 in store. The Uber eats price is inflated to cover the 30% commission Uber charges restaurants…
That's known as a convenience tax. If you want it at cost price you have to buy it at the source, if you want it the easiest way you pay what others want to charge you.
