  Because this is 30bit colour, High pixel density, Max 550 nits brightness, HDR400, USB C and multi please colour profiles.
  
  You don't need this if you don't do colour correction, photography or video editing.
  
  I bought it for the same price but it used to be $1200.

Excellent price. However, monitors, I’d only buy direct - pity Dell won’t price-match SE.
