Sunbutter SPF50 Reef Safe Sunscreen 3 for $64.80 Posted @ Sunbutter Skincare

SPREADTHEBUTTER

With summer here, might be spending much more time in the water! Get some reef friendly SP50 sunscreen. Usually around $30 per tin at the shops. Family pack (3 tins) going for $64.80 ($21.60 per tin) with the code SPREADTHEBUTTER plus free delivery. Great gift for family and friends! The only thing is sometimes it does get quite runny if it gets too warm so it's not that great to leave in the car / anywhere it gets quite warm.

"BULK NATURAL SUNSCREEN FOR FAMILIES AND INFLUENCERS."

    🤔

    • haha yeah… don't know what the 'influencers' is about

  • Reef friendly? Wth…

Oxybenzone, an ingredient found in the majority of mainstream sunscreens kills coral. So for people who are regularly in the ocean and care about protecting it, reef friendly sunscreen is a must.

        Thanks. Never knew that!

Save your money and get Cancer Council Sunscreen. $64 for 3 tins of sunscreen is way too expensive.

    • Different type of sunscreen product

      • For influencers…

        • Yeah totally understand price aspect but for your consideration the cancer council sunscreen has Octocrylene and Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane which has been shown to be harmful to coral reefs as it can promote viral infections and coral bleaching. Many off-the-shelf sunscreens also contain oxybenzone and octinoxate which will be banned in Hawaii (effective January 1, 2021) to help protect their coral reefs. Some people with sensitive skin may also benefit from using more natural sun protection with less chemicals.

P.S agree marketing it for 'influencers' is a bit of a cringe / turnoff.
