Another LoU2 deal. Another comment to say if you haven’t played it - worth every dollar!

awaits negs and replies to say it sucks

    • GOD i am stuck on digital ps5. its 56aud on PSN and I already have disk since it came out.

      • +15

Its for deals like this that I paid the extra for the PS5 disc version.

The money you save up front quickly gets eaten up on eternally overpriced digital delivery games.

        • +1

I agree with you but I could only secure digital one i haven't bought any new games cause I already have like 80 titles . now waiting for disc version to come out of hiding.

    • +1

Frankly for $20 I'll take the risk even if I don't like the story….

    • At this price, agreed!

  • +2

Hate it or love It game, buy at own risk lol

  • +8

Beware: game contains very buff girl i didnt know i had a thing for them ubtil i saw her others may not kike it

    • +2

Plot twist. LoU3 involves Ellie leaving Dina and entering a polygamous relationship with buff girl and last air bender boy

      • TLOU 3: COVID 19

        • Covidgunk 2020:eLeCtRic ReSpIrAtOr tOo….. I'm sorry….

The Last of Busty Girl Part 3

    • Booty bangin' that WWF best GOTY gal.

  • Fanx.

  • I paid 29 for this a few days ago and it arrived yesterday…

    • Same here…

      • Email or get on live chat. They initially offered a free return when I said return would cost $7 and then ended up saying they'd refund the difference

        • Cheers mate will do

  • +3

I couldn't get into the first TLOU, tried three times and just didn't enjoy it.

Purchased this anyway, hopefully it grabs my attention more!

    • +4

I'd suggest playing the first game before playing this one.

      • Because of the story?

        • +3

Yeah, it's a continuation of the first game's story. I recently finished Part 2 and while the gameplay was better, I enjoyed the story more from the first game.

          • @messiah1095: Agreed, it would be a really bad idea to play the 2nd LOU without playing all the way through the first.

  • +1

I loved TLOU, played it on both PS3 & PS4 at each release as well as Factions MP on both systems, but I felt insulted with how they handled the story, can't say anything due to spoilers but I just couldn't finish this one and felt that the writing wasn't nearly as good as the first one.

  • Thanks OP! Purchased. Couldn’t resist at this price.

  • +1

spent 23 hours this week on this game , still one of the best PS4 game along with uncharted 4 and GOW IMO

  • Yes it sounds very Christmassy to play a game teaches you revenge and forgiveness.
As I posted before, I believe this game will fall into $10-20 and become free in mid 2021.
It's probably not a bad idea to spent $20 if you have time to play now.

  • Even if the story isn't good. It's a good price to play the first half of the game before things go south

  • No stock? Or is my app stupid

    • I’m still seeing stock.

  • +1

Not as good as the first one
    Overly long
Contradictory moral theme for the 2 key characters (one doesn’t learn their ‘lesson’ whose revenge is justified)
Think of it as a movie that you sometimes ‘play a part in’

Hey guys. TLOU2 will come to PSN membership game soon……in a few months.

  • RIP Big W

Looks like amazon have them in their sights

  • This has probably been asked before but does amazon have a price guarantee? I purchased this a few weeks ago for $29 from Amazon and it is still sealed if that makes a difference.

    • +1

Yep, contact Amazon support and they'll credit the difference.

      • I've sent them an email.

        • Yeah I’ve sent them an email too. No luck

I'm Sushmitha from Amazon Customer Service. Thank you for contacting us.

I understand your concern regarding the products "The Last of Us Part 2 - PlayStation 4 and Borderlands 3 - PlayStation 4" whose price has dropped on the website. As a customer myself, I know hoe disappointing it would make us feel when price drops just after our orders arrive.

Our prices may increase or decrease based on a number of factors and unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund for the difference between the price in your order and the lower price you saw on our website

You can return the item for a refund, if you purchased it less than 30 days ago and you can reorder them for the price which is shown on the website now.

I know it’s only a few bucks but gonna call them tomorrow night … hopefully that will work

          • @pineapple12: Try chat instead. I've had better luck with that and if you get a rep like that, you can usually get a different rep on the next try.

    • Your mileage may vary. I’ve been able to get the difference credited back after a few days, I’ve read that there are others who haven’t had much luck. If you don’t have any luck try again and hopefully you’ll get a different, more lenient rep.

      • Would be a hassle but I suppose I could return the game then buy again at the cheaper price if I don't get credited the difference.

        • Return it.

          Wait until it hit $1.

          Re-buy it.

          Regret later.

        • $7 to return for change of mind, so wouldn't be worth it

          • @MiscOzB: I attempted the difference to be refunded to my account through their live chat. They declined and offered me free return label. They then said they couldn't do this and said they'd refund my account.

    • Did this today via Customer Service chat and got refunded $9.

6:12 PM AEDT Navaneetha: As one time exception, I will help you with $9

      Email later from Amazon.

      AmericanExpress Credit Card: $9.00

      • Usually they'd only give a credit to spend on Amazon AU items, seems you got very lucky there. Thought they stopped refunding price differences completely a while back.

  • Got one!

  • Nice dice looks like I'm returning it.

  • +2

Borderlands 3 is now $14 - cheapest ever according to Camels.

  • Make it under $10 and you got a deal.

  • +3

Just a heads up with this game. It's nice visually and the combat is satisfying. The story falls flat on every level, the new characters don't hold up on their own, and the old characters are unrecognisable in their one dimensionality and are written as idiots to push the plot forward. For me, it's the most disappointing game this generation considering how much I enjoyed its predecessor.

    • +1

Here comes the negs in 3…2…1…

You just trashed OzB's beloved GOTY. They gonna put you in their blacklist.

I think the price drop says a lot.
This game was released only 6 months ago. Compare it to the other PS4 major first party release Ghost of Tsushima which was released around the same time and is ~$50 where as Last of Us is already bargain basement pricing.

  • I don't have a PS5 yet, still any point getting? at this rate it'll probably be a few months before I get one, and I don't know how much cheaper this game will go.

I do have a og ps4 but I doubt it'd run any good on it.

    • This was made for PS4 as a PS4 exclusive…. Its not Cyberpunk.

      • I play cyberpunk on my PC at everything max'd out at high resolution, story is fun but the game just does not feel polished…

    • It runs fine on og PS4. Angry Joe played on an og PS4 and while he didn't enjoy the story, the graphics, animation and tech aspects were rated quite highly.

People believe there could well be a PS5 enhanced version of it (either being sold as a separate edition when Factions is out or part of Factions). If you believe that, then you might feel like waiting.

If you want to know how good the graphics / animation can be on a PS4, this game is it. Story however…. let's just say it is a bitter story (not bittersweet, just bitter) for most people.

      • I'm a sucker for sony exclusives so I definitely will play this game, I've heard nothing but good things about the combat and gameplay itself, but mixed opinions about the story. welp - I have nothing to lose, its $20 :) compared to when I almost bought it on launch day for the usual launch price.

    • Bought the PS4 pro LE of this game with ZERO regrets, sold it to get money to the PS5 and bought the LE edition of this game again with ZERO regrets when it was $50 at Amazon for BF

      Yeah, is that good :)

      No regrets!!

    Sold Old Now.
Had one in the cart since yesterday as a second copy, but why I do I need a second copy.
Death Stranding sold out too for $16.

    • I’m still seeing stock. If you click ‘see all buying options’ it’s still $20 and being sold through Amazon, however it doesn’t ship until Jan 9. Just added to cart then.

      • I tried adding the item to my cart a couple of hours ago and also buy it now… neither worked. Regardless, only remaining buying options are starting from $49 now.

        • Showing cheapest as $49 for me too, but I definitely added one for $20 when I made my last comment ~45mins ago.

Buy from Big W. My son works there. Plus Amazon pay Auspost for preferential treatment. Allegedly from a guy at Auspost.

    • Every Amazon parcel I've had delivered has been via 'Couriers Now' never Auspost
