A lower tier or 2-3 year old top tier smartphone will produce better photos than this. Plus add the convenience factor and there's just no point to point and shoot cameras anymore.

    • You could say that about Instax cameras but they still sell like hotcakes.

        Ebay $145 Amazon $149 .
No interest except for peg warming value :)

That's not really a good comparison. The use case for an instax is different. The use case for a cheap point and shoot has been far exceeded by smartphones.

You do realise this is a printer not just a cheap P&S camera?

Photo quality is not really the point nor desire behind instamatic/Polaroid cameras - it's mainly the instant physical photo/novelty/caught in the moment aspect as to why people get these

I picked up one of the previous models for $49 for a bit of fun

  • Great deal. Inspic C is cheaper but with this S model you can connect to your smartphone and print photos saved on your phone as well as using it as an instant camera printer.

    • Agree. With phone connectivity, you can also see/pick what you are printing. With C, how do you reprint something that you took a couple of photos ago?
