RogueWolf always gets the best deals 🙏

  • +2

Very good price. RRP is $1079 for the 11 and $1429 for the 12.

  • +6

2000 points for $100 off RRP is not a bad conversion rate.

    • +6

Plus you earn points for buying something. Works out to ~1800 points earned on the iPhone 11. And on the iPhone 12 you’re actually in a net gain of points.

    • +12

      So brave

    • Keep dreamin buddy

    • Few more downvotes and that post is history

  • Is the iPhone 12 pro max a good deal?

    • Zip pay is better if you have enough credit, Get it from Costco for max saving

      • is there any discount from Zip pay?

      • +1

Max Zip rebate is $30 per purchase during their Saturday promotion. Better to buy Coles/Myer Group gift cards during the ZIP Saturday promotion (multiple $300 transactions to maximise the 10% rebate) then buy at Officeworks.

  • So usually how do you calculate the point vs $ ratio thing to find if it worth?

    • +2

You end up earning points with the i12 128gb pay 2000 but get back 2662

    • +1

As a general rule of thumb, they say 1 point = 1 cent makes it a good deal.

      • 3c a point is achievable on long haul biz flights

You always get the Android fanboys on every Apple deal. Funny how you don't get the opposite.

      • +24

Apple fanboys are busy enjoying their purchase; Android fanboys are trying to justify theirs.

        • -8

Apple fanboys don't have any money left after their purchase so don't bother looking at other deals?

          • +8

@brawndo: I'm an Android fanboy, but I'm lol with theses comments. Well done guys.

            • +1

@GiullianSN: I want my Mapple MiPhone

          • @brawndo: Android fanboys out here acting like vegans, trying to push their choices on others. It’s like religious people pushing their faith on others; no one cares. Enjoy what you bought and stop trying to convince others they should buy what you want them to buy.

          • -8

@brawndo: Apple fans seem to have lots of money.

              • @Aceboy884: Do you just look at his?

              • @Aceboy884: I was just correcting your butt-hurt buddy.
Apple wouldn't be the behemoth it is if it's consumers weren't continually buying their products. If Samsung became the biggest company in the world and someone made a comment like that, guess what? I'd respond the exact same way, with the facts.
The McDonalds jab is a reality check to expose the quite humourous sensetivity some of you have towards such an irrelevant issue
Keep it in your pants mate 🤭
Don't want to give you another reality check 😉

      • Wahahaha they trying to prove something which obviously apple boys don’t care. Bloody pathetics

      • -1

You always get the Android fanboys on every Apple deal.

Not just android fanboys but other critical hypocrites as well :-p

Could anyone let me know what the invoice on these looks like? I.e. will it look like a proper purchase invoice or "redemption" / similar? (assuming I'm using cash + 2000 pts)

    • +1

Assuming the process hasn’t changed in the last two years, it would look something like this

      • Thank you!

  • You will need a lot of points to buy the 12 Pro Max using points…

  • Should I do this or go JB hifi with a 5% cash back gift card from ShopBack?

  • +1

Dispatches in 25 days. No thanks, but a good deal if you can wait.

    • +1

They said that when I bought an iPad mini 2 months ish ago but we got it in three days

    • I ordered last deal and received within a week despite it also saying dispatches 25 days.

  • +1

How is this a deal when you can use z1p for 10% off if you split the payments up in store?

    • +1

It's a deal if you have Qantas Amex credits and don't plan on flying anytime soon. $450 off on a phone is better than nothing.

  • Jut wanted to ask if it' possible to buy this without being a member? and if I have to join up would it just a straight forward paying by credit card as I won't have any points. I'm jut new to these flyer points system.

    • No. You need the minimum points.

    • minimum 2000 points

    • This deal is only good if you have at least 2000 Qantas Frequent Flyer points.

  • regular price at Costco is $1379 for the 128gb iPhone 12.

    • Or $1399 at Officeworks, then pay with Coles/Myer Group gift cards purchased from the ZIP Saturday 10% rebate.

      • Thank you, I saw your comment here and followed it exactly, so now with my iphone 12 mini. I got them from officeworks, as I cant really repay zip on the same day, so I ended up getting $1090 worths of gift card then plus some cash and the iphone works out $109 cheaper. Was happy giving it's all local supply and can get it same day.

This is for Quantas members only?

    • +3

      No. It’s for Qantas member.

      • Which Qantas member?

        • Cuántos miembros?

  • Is this all Australian stock /warranty? Any issues with payment apps?

    • Yes it's Australian stock.

  • Anyone has value for money iphone 12 cases that're not too crappy but not too expensive to recommend? Thx!

    • +7

      Spigen

      • +4

Seconding Spigen. Excellent cases for the money.

    • I saw that Spigen fades to yellow. I went with the Flolab TAFFYCA for $59 instead. It gets good reviews.

  • Got my Apple Watch from this one when they had 20% off on points.

  • so for the iPhone 12 Pro, what is the saving?
    Around 5%?

    • 6.7% sadly thats as good as it gets with apple products

      • Maybe wait for an eBay promo? Maybe get 10% off during an eBay plus sale.
Does Apple have a Student portal? Is there a discount through the portal?

        • Education store does not sell phones

  • +1

Ordered an iphone 11 after combining points that were soon to expire on my and 'er accts. Great. Been sniffing around for a deal for a few weeks. Thx OP

    • Qantas points never expire.

      • I think the quote is "Qantas never crashed"… But the email I got said "Your Qantas Points are due to expire on 31 Jan 2021.
Qantas Points do not expire as long as you keep earning or using them over an 18 month period". We're not flying much ATM.

        • What Qantas points expires 😱 ?

How do I check when mine are expiring and how to keep those active without flying?

          • @naru6705: There are literally dozens of ways to earn Qantas points not including flying. Credit cards being the main one but so many businesses are QFF partners these days. I think I've made over 100,000 points this year, about 1500 of those from one short intra-state flight and the rest from other sources.

  • Shop at Woolworths after joining and convert to QF.

  • How can I calculate if getting an ipad 4 from the Qantas Store is a good ideal? Have some points to redeem. Thank you.

  • +1

Thanks OP - got the iPhone 12 mini

Hopefully delivery does not take too long.

    • You saw the bit about "dispatches in 25 days" right?

      • +1

        Normally much sooner than that

        • +1

Only took 2 days for my iPhone 12 mini to arrive.

Ordered Monday 28 December 2020 (Boxing Day public holiday). Arrived Wednesday 30 December 2020.

          Sent directly from Apple.

          Very happy!

          • @bangiebargie: Same here.

            • @bruceclipse: Ordered my 11 on the 24th. Still "processing"..

              • @roonie: Mine showed as ‘processing’ right up until it was delivered, so it could be already on its way to you.

                • @bangiebargie: Thanks for that. did you get any notice it was arriving?? I assume that you had to sign for it?

                  • @roonie: Yes delivered by TNT if you miss it no biggie go online and request for redelivery one of the best couriers to deal with

                    • @bruceclipse: When I ordered mine it also said 25 days for delivery but only took about 10 days. I got text messages from apple stoire saying it was on its way and email from TNT. I wasn't home when they tried to deliver and had to go to one of their collection centres about 15mins away to pick up as they would not redeliver.

    • Mine arrived in 3 days

  • Can I use some of my points to pay for this and then use cash for the rest?

    • Yes - you can adjust the split between points/cash you want to use, but you need to use at least 2000 points minimum

  • Can you do price match in Officework for iphone? Thanks. iPhone 12 128GB is $1379.99 in costco. Officework is $1427. Can you beat the price to $1311 in Officework? Thanks

    • +1

Don't think so as it requires 2,000 QF points as co-payment
