Not available until mid Jan and probably the cheapest it is going to get this year - not holding my breath for boxing day sales as Black Friday was a bit of a disappointment.

Unfortunately it's the age old law of supply and demand. Doesn't make it any easier to stomach though
Blame COVID for sending demand through the roof. If you're disappointed by the price of new components, you should check out the used market.. it will make you weep
Under the details section it says it’s a 2600…
Could always refund it if they send you a 2600
Thanks OP for the deal, but I would rather buy local stock for 20ish extra with local warranty and in-stock. I guess this isn't good enough price just yet
Agree but Shopping Express charge $15 for postage so all up $340 + they probably ship with Couriers Please so god knows when the item will turn up.
"probably the cheapest it is going to get this year" what a baseless claim
Only 8 days left this year, pretty good chance it’s true!
And useless. There's a week left of this year. So its actually claiming its "probably the cheapest it is going to get this week"
You missed the joke…
The price is back at $293.16
Got it thanks, figured that I can get one now and then replace with 5900x in the future. Also read and saw benchmarks where it isn't really bottlenecking the RTX 3080 so am happy with that as using for pure gaming
The listing is still available, you just have to select the seller to be Amazon US, or to use this link: https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07STGGQ18?smid=A4XRJ8S0WXSO0 . Currently at $285.69 + $11.25 Delivery.
why are we customers being punished if they are not able to manufacture enough?
