[PS4] Knowledge Is Power: Decades $2.48 @ EB Games/JB Hi-Fi

140

I just bought the game yesterday after price matching it at JB Hi-Fi, the sales guy couldnt believe the price EB was offering.

The preowned version costs more than the brand new version.

JB selling it for $12, each store seems to have 2 copies of it. I only got one as they had one left. No stock at EB in SA.

EBGames have that deal since October it seems,

my receipt showing pricematch as of 20th December.

It is not sold out as you can get the game in NSW, QLD, ACT, NT and WA in a lot of stores.. If EB doesnt have it, checkout JB.

Do you have the wits to come out on top in this exclusive PlayLink quiz game? Test your pop culture and entertainment knowledge from the ‘80s, ‘90s, ‘00s and 2010s, in a fun, accessible and madcap game show which uses your smart device as the controller.

Up to six of you can go head-to-head, with thousands of unique questions, a variety of themed environments and eight unique characters to choose from. From ‘80s Gamer Girl to Hip Hop Guy, there are plenty of retro-styled personalities to meet in your quest to scale the Pyramid of Knowledge.

Get the edge on your opponents with brand new Power Plays which let you lock your foes’ screens, zip up their answers, and more. And with four new touch screen challenges, you have the chance to mix things up in a time-based score attack mode.

Also got Drone Championship League (2020 feb release) for $4.98, super price for that game, beating your personal best and other's time is quite challenging and fun.

Does Ebgames price match the game for a brand new one vs. preowned one sold by them as the pre-owned is expensive than the brand new and my nearest store seems to have a preowned one but is not showing any stock of brand new one. Any idea?

    • Not in my experience. I know, right?

    • Check JB Hifi

EB Games don't associate the preowned version of a game as the same stock item as new. They each have unique barcodes and IDs in the system.

Publishers, stock levels and all sorts of other factors determine the "new" price whereas EB alone determines preowned pricing based on trade value and supply/demand.
