  • Two HDMI ports?! I want something like that

    • Yes it have 2 HDMI ports

      • Second point from the amazon listing pasted in full below…you must be able to use MST for multiple screens. If you can do DisplayPort daisy chaining, then this will give independent screens. Realistically, it's windows only, so given the likely majority of users of these dongles have Macbook Pros, unfortunately multiple screens means multiple dongles…

【Triple Display USB C HUB 4K HDMI HUB 】:Mirror or extend your screen with the USB C adapter HDMI port and directly stream 4K UHD or full HD 1080P video to HDTV, monitors, or projectors . One display is from HDMI 1, one display is from HDMI 2 and the other display is from PC so that you can totally enjoy 3 multiple display &Very important tip&(only Windows system support MST (Multi Stream Transport), Mac OS does not support triple display(The Mac OS itself does not support split screen effect).

Only 30Hz@4k like all the other 'cheap' adapters. Migraine central.

        • This

it will run signal to both but not as individual screens, In other words both screens show the same image

      • +3

It can definitely run the screens individually. I'm doing just that at the moment.

      • Oh that’s dumb

      • What makes you say that?
Looks from the description that maybe that's the case for Macs but not for windows. I have a similar hub for similar price and can run extended display on 2 extra screens no problem.

Any chance of getting one at this price or is it too late?

  • The last dual HDMI MST hub I tried was this Heymix one from this deal
I could not get it to work as a dual display setup, when plugged in to the Lenovo S540 it could only clone the two displays, not operate them independently.

The only USB-c hub I have successfuly used with two external displays is this Wavlink one

    • I've got the heymix and have it working for with dual external displays. Odd.

      • Maybe mine was a bad one - what laptop do you have working with dual displays and what resolution?
