First time post so be gentle. But I've been looking at getting one of these headsets for a while now and this seems like the cheapest I've seen it.

USB.
At least according to the product website here
It is a wireless headset. There is a USB receiver dongle. The headset itself can be connected to micro USB for charging purpose.
OK. Thought it was wired.
I have one of these and its great. Highly recommend.
Will this work on XBOX Series X?
no. closest would be couldx flight

Tempted… my Artcis 1 has started doing the static popping which they’re plagued with.
Great price
The original Flights should be going on sale in the next two weeks in the $120-$140 range.
Not sure the $50 jump is worth it, as it seems to be a sidegrade beyond trading the option of wired audio for wireless charging.
The originals are more bassy, but when the time comes, just change the pads, as there are a few recommendations to make them more Harman neutral. EQ is also an option to tame that:
Oh, that's actually quite tempting as I have no real need for wireless charging. Have they advertised the price drop on the original Flights somewhere?
Thanks for linking the EQ profiles, too! I'll definitely give that a shot.
The last sale was $150 for Black Friday, but you'll see the price history for December here:

In fact, here they are for $147: https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B077ZGRY9V/
Right on. Cheers!
Thanks! I've been on the lookout for exactly this pair for a while. Plugging ATH-m50x directly into the PS5 controller absolutely wrecks its battery life.
I paid 330 for my pair and best decision I've made they are unreal.
Bought a pair cheers OP
These should work on new-gen consoles given they have USB dongle?
I recently recieved mine (for $215 in prior post, lucky work reimburse with working from home benefit) and love them. I had cloud 2 for 5 years prior and still going strong but usual wear and tear. Since work would pay for new ones I went for a new set.
I only needed for PC and wanted wireless as allows me to get up and move around during work calls / meetings, and just tidier. Was original set on Arctis 7 but price / stock not great and these came up. The USB dongle IMO is much nicer than the long cable of Arctis 7, very comfy pads and headband (I wear them 5-10 hours a day), mic good quality, decent buttons on cups (wish they were a little lighter to activate), the software is very basic (no EQ) but simple to customise (I note if you change button binds you must have software open for it to apply otherwise it goes back to default), and wireless charging is awesome. I have a cheap $5 charging disk and work perfectly from a charge and stability POV. I'm no audiophile but they sound good to me, and I have not noticed any wireless latency.
If looking for wireless PC focus (with function for PS4/5), I would recommend these, especially at the $183 price point.
Does it use USB or you need a Y splitter?
