      5600x CPU for some reason can't get any more stock within this year.

      We do have very very very limited stock on hand, reserve for walk in customer. Upgrade price is not sharp though.

    As someone who has bought two Virco prebuilds (of different models), and another Virco-built system through Titan Tech, I can hard vouch for their timeliness and quality of builds.
    First Virco prebuild was actually bought way later than the Titan Tech but arrived much earlier (Virco was ordered on the 25/10 and came in the door on the 4/11; Titan Tech was ordered on the 24/9 and came in the door on the 19/11), and the order for the second Virco prebuild was put through late Sunday evening of the 6th December and it arrived Wednesday December 9th. So you'll looking at a 10 day turnover from order to system in your door, probably at most.

    I'd definitely recommend these guys.

        Hey DevlicK, sorry to hear that, unfortunately I'm not qualified to make that comparison, as I've no experience with TechFast.
        However, Virco builds have neat and tidy cabling, cables are well secured and tied, and use quality components if you've concerned about that, the systems are chugging along nicely.
        Their systems are well packaged, and you'll be expecting them through the door within 10 working days at most.

        I bought a rig from Virco and another from Techfast and I must say the Virco one is way better in terms of quality, values and turnaround. Better yet they have a dedicated phone line service compared to standard email from Techfast. Would definitely recommend these guys

    I want to buy the system, but the website doesn't reflect the "upgrade" options I chose, at check out, the price is still the same $2136 instead of $2906, how do we fix that?

    Another question is, is it possible to change to case to "Thermaltake V250 TG ARGB Tempered Glass Mid-Tower ATX Case"? Thermaltake can fit under my desk (less than 46cm height)

    Bought a 3070 system off them a few weeks ago. Order was placed on the Monday, computer at my house in Melbourne on Thursday, I was shocked at how quick the turnaround time was

    I know these systems aren't exactly like-for-like but this system seems to be 30% more expensive with add-ons than this recent offer from Dell for a similar RTX-3070 system (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/584484). I got initially excited when I saw the headline post and immediately thought about whether I could cancel my order with Dell, until I did the numbers and changed my mind. I guess the things that might make you choose this would be: AMD Ryzen-based, possibly better quality parts, looks, quicker delivery, better power supply, upgradeability. I'd cancel my order and go for this if it had the same inclusions at this price but as it is, you still have to shell out for Windows, hard drives upgrades and wifi.

        Yeah, appreciate the point re Dell's buying power. It is normally listed for $3999, so can you imagine the margins they make on anything they sell at full price? Just a question - why shouldn't people pay for Windows? I've seen sites selling Windows 10 keys for $30 or even 50c, but something tells me that they might not be legit…

      I wouldn't buy the Dell deals without extended warranty, you're sitting on a timebomb with that machine

      Though this here is not amazing value either, you could definitely build a similar.ialr system for cheaper

          Heat is a big problem for that case, so CPU and GPU will struggle.

          500W is cutting it too close I think, so there's that

          Dell 3070 won't be worth as much as even the cheapest aib models, they generally do not have good cooling to begin with so generally underperform

          RAM will be one of those super slow and ugly looking ram without heatsink that you really wouldn't want to keep

          Motherboard is proprietary, won't fit in any other case

          So pretty much only the ssd is safe, and potentially cpu and gpu

      The Dell system had a much better CPU, much more storage, wifi and activated windows. This deal is pretty weak considering they're only including a 3600X while Titan Tech had a 5600X system for a bit more.

      Windows keys cost $5 on ebay, although you don't even need to activate windows.

      Dell systems are cheap and nasty. They use very low quality and proprietary components, making upgrades virtually impossible. I bought a Dell that was a "good deal" a very long time ago, but eventually was nothing but a nightmare. I wish I'd built my own system but I didn't know much about PCs back then. I also wish I'd bought AMD stock :)

      Furthermore, this build is using on of "the best" 3070 cards which is ~$1,200 from Aussie retailers, although there's nothing wrong with the FE cooler so the premium isn't worth it.

    For a 1080p user looking just to game - I assume this is overkill? One of these is better suited to me? I'm moving to PC from consoles so I'm a bit lost regarding the marginal gains I will get…

      I'd go for one of the middle options. 1650 is a pretty basic card even for 1080p, 2060 will keep you going for a good while.

      There are certain games that these systems may not run or run well. As suggested above, you'd need higher system specs out of the box to run Cyberpunk. As time progresses, components get better and better fairly quickly and game developers make games to meet these newer specs. I used to go down the middle of the road before but found my systems became relatively obsolete when it came to running certain titles regarded as the latest and greatest. I'd prefer to get a few years out of a new system now. I mean, I could chuck a top of the range graphics card in my old PC but my old CPU, RAM etc. would be bottlenecks, and to upgrade those, I'd need a new motherboard.

        I saw that TechFast deal and just worried about the quality of parts - it sounds like Virco give you higher quality parts? That $1420 Virco build is about $400 more than the Techfast deal (post upgrading storage), but I'm getting better parts (and an RTX 2060 Super 8gb rather than RTX 2060 4gb)? Faster delivery and higher build quality also sound like bonuses.

          I wouldn't say it's worth $400 more for the higher quality parts.

          I would say for the 2060 Super build however. The 2060 is 6GB btw.

        It seems pretty good, excluding TechFast which is in a totally world of price (they seem OK but bad reviews/experiences do exist). It's $400 more than Techfast's equivalent RTX 2060 GB/10400F deal - but the RTX 2060 Super 8GB is at least $100, then you're paying $300 for better parts and build, and quicker delivery.

        RTX 2060 (especially the Super) seems to handle everything at 1080p, even Cyberpunk and MSFS, and probably will for 5 years. Even 1440p is smooth. I'm looking at this for those reasons.

        Thoughts?

      First option is just bad, the 1650 is a terrible card that should never have existed.

      Second option has a better CPU but blower-style gpu card. Third option has a worse CPU but dual fan GPU. Neither case has great airflow (second looks better) so a blower-style card might not be that much of a detriment.

      As far as blower cards go, it seems the 2060 super turbo has pretty good temps. I would go for the second option and upgrade the PSU to be gold and fully modular (+$70).

    After the recent Nvidia stuff with Steve from Hardware Unboxed, definitely going with an all Red (AMD) build in a couple of months.

    Hoping Virco and Techfast will offer some Ryzen 5600X + 6700XT builds and may the most competitive build win.

      We don't keep 3700x in stock.

      3700x is same price as 5600x, buying 3700x is odder….might as well get 5600x.

      Wait till Feb next year, 5600x should come back to stock, you can sell 3600x by then, should be still very good value.

        Might have jumped on this deal if it was less thank $2k considering the other deals that have been posted. I'm interested in buying a prebuilt so I don't have to do any assembly/disassembly so uninstalling the cooler, replacing the CPU and then selling it on isn't really a realistic suggestion.             @ln28909: That seems rather odd that people would chase a second hand, lower-end CPU so hard. Doesn't make much sense to me. Instead of going down to the local store to buy with warranty and tax invoice, you'd have to travel for pickup or pay for postage for the sake of saving $37. Makes me wonder if some computer retailers might be stocking up on these and flogging them as inclusions within "new systems" to boost margins, but that doesn't make sense either because they pay wholesale price to begin with.

              @Thor Bargain God: Used market lacks information, so you have people selling for very low and they sell really quickly , so whatever is left that most people see is overpriced. But then they based what they see to be a reasonable price to buy in, so there is a huge opportunity for arbitrage.

              My system costs me $6k to build and just playing around with used parts already help me cut down the cost by $3k

    I've had nothing but dramas with past ASUS stuff.. that was a few years ago though, How do they stand up nowadays? I've had a 1440 monitor go bad and a motherboard a long time back.
    Im torn between this and the MSI, but the MSI is a few hundred bucks more with my options.
