if it works on 12 pro max, it makes zero sense that it wouldn't work on the normal 12/12pro.

iPhone 12 Pro Max worked good with osmo 3.

Just got the Pro Max and have now used it a couple of times with my OM3 and it works fine in landscape mode - no shaking while walking with it, etc. The phone also has this Spigen case on it
@skido: Maybe there's an update to the dji firmware I missed
On iPhone 12 pro max launch date I opened the box, put it straight into my DJI osmo 3 and it refused to balance, shook constantly and kept locking the phone if I moved it across because of the lock button location

@skido: Works fine, but does it work good? Spend $2,000 on a huge phone to use as a portable video camera, you probably want it to work good and not just fine.
This device also sucks with most android phones! Huge disappointment for me - I'm using my work phone that's a pixel 2 over my personal LG V30+. Doesn't have nearly as many features compared to when using iOS devices - beware!

Virtually no difference except the 4 has a higher weight limit which isn't necessary as the 3 holds most phones
