During this course, requiring minimal supervision, children will learn how to use Makers Empire and Design Thinking processes to design a bag tag, ice cream cone and their own name tag. As they design, children develop creative confidence and problem-solving skills, express ideas, improve spatial awareness and learn valuable tech skills. Children will love seeing their ideas go from thought to 3D design to a 3D print that they can hold in their hands.
Parents receive regular updates on their child’s progress, a parent guidebook with helpful tips and advice on helping your child excel, and one high-quality 3D print of their child’s name tag, posted to your home.
After completing the Welcome to 3D challenge, children gain access to Makers Empire's new Mission to Mars challenge path. This Australian-Curriculum aligned path comprises immersive and engaging videos, design challenges, pro training tutorials and quizzes designed to develop and test children's knowledge about space and space travel.

NSW parents, guardians and carers can apply for a Creative Kids voucher with a value of up to $100 per calendar year for each school-enrolled child aged 4.5-18 years to undertake creative and cultural activities. Makers Empire is an approved provider for Creative Kids so NSW parents, guardians and carers can apply for a Creative Kids voucher for eligible children that will cover the full cost of the Welcome to 3D challenge.
