    Preparing for doomsday?

    • It lasts a family of 4 @ 6 months, when used 2 to 3 times a week. A fantastic base to use with other styles. EG Dianne, Peppercorn, Mushroom, Brown Onion. This is the stuff commercial restaurants use, except they buy a larger tub.

  • Perfect for Christmas day lunch

    • You've got Christmas day lunch covered for next 5-10 years

I'm just going to dish up bowls of this slop and some dipping condiments.

There is a gluten free and vegan version too: https://www.amazon.com.au/Maggi-Supreme-Gravy-Gluten-Vegetar…

Bought it a while ago, it's very nice! Much better than Gravox.

Only slight complaint is that it's a bit onion heavy, but if you don't mind this (I don't), then it's great. Best ready instant gravy I've had.

  • I just buy home brand gravy for $3 for about 400 grams , what makes this so much better ?

Tastes better. Pretty basic thing to understand

Idk about the home brand one, but the maggi gravy is used in several award winning pies from various bakeries and butchers. So probably the taste.

    • Much more flavor. Anything from a supermarket is made to a price, and is designed for repeat business. This is a commercial product, and no doubt Maggi have a network, and wont sell to the colesworth/iga/aldi group. This is what your local Pub, Club, bakery, takeaway etc most likely use (or Knorr).
It's like a having a keg of your favourite beer on tap at home (if you drink?).

      • Cheers got some

          Yeah, you won't be sorry.

  • Knorr gravy or nothing .

    • Knorr is great as well. I used to use their demi-glace

I remember they had some flavour enhancers to go with their tubs.

  • Imagine ringing through the order to your local chip shop. "Can I please have enough chips to go with 20L of gravy?"
