Was shopping around cheap USB C to USB A 3.0 cables for my switch and found this.
Might not last long though from the reviews but this is probably the cheapest USB A 3.0 to USB C cable around at this length.
Don't get this for charging though, main selling point is the data transfer speeds.
Make sure you apply the $1 coupon and the code at checkout.

Problem is how much current can it handle for charging. Probably won't be able to fast charge.
I can't seem to apple the promotional code. nevermind all good
This is a USB 2.0 Cable

Works with Oculus Link

Bought to use with the new Oculus Quest Beta Link. Works fine. USB C cable needed to be inserted into the Quest a specific way as one side didn't register as USB 3.However after a month or so of use, the cable broke and the USB C component fell out of the cable.
Looking at the reviews it's definitely not a USB 2.0 cable, you can verify this by searching "transfer speed" or "USB 3.0" on the review page itself.

edit: oculus software broke the compatibility of this cable again, it no longer works. sad.
it does in fact work fine- if it's not working it may potentially be a power issue, since a 10ft (or longer) cable pushing data will take more power from the usb controller.
alternatively it may be that the oculus service is really weird and making sure i ended it and only had it running just before i wanted to enable link, I've had no issues with any cable or extension, unless it was faulty to start
anyone talking about 2.0 in any review of most cables probably has these other simple issues. there are edge cases where soldering isn't done correctly but those are DoA cables, not falsely sold ones
edit: got my absolute peak test speeds with this cable; breached 2gbps in the transfer rate. Anker and others mostly were around 1.6-1.9. Very neat.Otherwise I'll test the transfer speeds after mine gets delivered.
Careful with unknown brands/bad quality USB-C. They could be missing the correct resistors in them. If you're interested look up "Benson Leung USB C"
Shouldn't be much of concern just for data transfer (which is prob the only reason to get this) but I do get the concern for charging. Thanks for the info, I'll look into it .
Thanks, got one. Never know when a long cable will come in handy.
