It won't stack due to special url required for booking.
Something is fishy here - different rates with and without cashback links (I used shopback first as they were still offering 6%) then tried this one and surprisingly rates went up further. It looks booking.com is (over)smart.

Not all the places though, when I tried Canberra I didn't see such fluctuations, may be where places are in high demand it plays up the prices
They do this all the time. Often when you use Cashrewards the 10% genius discount disappears
I was hoping this might apply for cash or bank transfers but clearly only card payments. Shame
