  • Anyone know if there is one of these in Qld? Thank you

    • This is federally funded, only recently announced, so may need to google.
Also cert 3 courses are always free if you qualify.

      • Ok thanks, will look into it further.

      • There are lots of changes in the eligibility under JobTrainer . Students may not be eligible to do the courses under normal funding if they have completed some courses in the past. But if meeting one of the below, you may get a chance to study one of the courses free

An Australian Citizen, a permanent resident, a New Zealand citizen, or a humanitarian visa holder
Must not have commenced a full qualification under Jobtrainer before.

and meet ONE OF THE FOLLOWING criteria

        Aged 18-24
        A jobseeker of any age
Hold a current and valid Commonwealth Health Care Card, Pensioner Concession Card or Veteran’s Gold Card
A separation certificate from their employer
A letter from their employer or company receiver stating that they have been made, or will be made, redundant or retrenched.
Student declaration that they are unemployed

Eligibility may vary in different states.

    • Not many providers are there in QLD for this stream I believe. However, you can register here https://www.myskills.gov.au/jobtrainer/QLD?js=6

  • Isn't this just marketing? It's government-funded and therefore the same price as all providers.

  • Hmn I should consider these in my are perhaps.

  • Under 24yo? I never know age discrimination can be so blunt

    • Welcome to the 'new normal' or great reset

    • Its the arrangement by the government.one of the below scenarios will be eligible too

      *Aged 18-24
      *A jobseeker of any age
*Hold a current and valid Commonwealth Health Care Card, Pensioner Concession Card or Veteran’s Gold Card
*A separation certificate from their employer
*A letter from their employer or company receiver stating that they have been made, or will be made, redundant or retrenched.
*Student declaration that they are unemployed

  • Any recommendations for other paid courses that one can easily get a job?

None of these free ones interest me that much, but I might have to bite the bullet and just do one

    • Hi.. Certificate IV Disability or Cert IV Health Administration courses are in high demand and easiest to find a quick job.
