  • Interested in buying the F100A

How durable are these gas strut mounts? Will they be good for at least 3-5 years?

    • Really great quality and reliability from North Bayou and will probably outlast your screen.

  • How wide does the clamp go? Is there a maximum desk thickness?

    • 90mm maximum.

      • Do you have anything that fits 100mm?

  • Hi OP,

I'm new to monitor stands. What product would you recommend to run a setup like this: https://base.imgix.net/files/base/ebm/ehstoday/image/2019/03…
One monitor centered and another angled. Both my monitors are 27inch and table is against wall.
Is it possible with one mount? Or will this work better with two F80's?
    Cheers :)

    • You could achieve this easily with two F80s or a H160 which have a longer reach than the F160 which is essentially two F80 on the one base.

      • Will the H160 work with a DELL S2721QS and S2721DGF?
If my understanding is right, it wont because both monitors are recessed?

  • Can this work with AOC 24g2?

    • I have no way to check the size of the Recessed VESA Mount on that monitor. The F80 VESA plate is 120 x 120, which fits some monitors, but not others.

  • Would this work for moving a monitor constantly? I have my ultra wide as my second monitor and have it swing it down and to the side to use for my sim racing rig.

    • +1

These work really well and the Gas Struts are tested for 6,000 cycles. That being said, for really high commercial use we recommend the H80 for places like Coles and Woolworths who use these in their in-house shopping trollies.

  • Anyone have AW3418DW and uses this?

    • On the same boat, but I think based on some comment, we should be able to mount it by using the included screws

  • Do you have any deals on dual monitor arm for 2x 27in? I could get 2x this but I noticed that you guys have dual monitor arms.

Also, I have 2x 27 AW2721D. Not sure if any of your dual arm monitors will fit.

  • Any idea if this'll work with an LG 27UL600-W?

    • Yes, that one has a flat VESA mount so should be just fine. Cheers.

      • Thanks!

  • My desk is right up against the wall, I can probably extend the gap to ~8cm but that's about it.

Will this work with such a small gap? I'm thinking to just place the arms on the far ends of the desk.

    • I would like to know if it will work with a desk up against the wall too.

      • Based on comments here, from what I've read and a friend's experience, it'll work but you'll need to position the mount towards the edges of the table. Won't work if centered.

  • does it work with Dell monitor S2721HS?

    • It has a recessed VESA mount so maybe not. The VESA plate on the F80 is 120 x 120, so best to check or ask if someone who has one can measure.

  • @rep, I assume this will work with Dell 27 S2721D ?

    https://www.dell.com/en-au/shop/dell-27-monitor-s2721d/apd/2…

    • See above answer.

      • Which answer?

  • Will this work for Dell ultra sharp 29 inch? Thanks

    • Without the Model number I can't check but if it has a recessed VESA mount, maybe not. Safer to go with the H80 which will fit and has more room for movement and clearance.

      • @ScreenMountsAu do you know if it fits the Dell S2421HS? If not, or doubtful, any chance of the H80 going on sale?

      • The model is U2913WM. Thanks

  • Hi all, will this work nicely with DELL S2721D?

  • +1

Can you maneuver the arm this flat against the wall? My desk is pretty shallow and close to the wall. So would need to position it so it's not directly in my face.

    • Minimum distance from the wall to front of VESA mounting plate is around 80mm. Then whatever the thickness of your screen is..

      • do you have any models that sit flatter against the wall/edge of the desk?

        • Not really, but if you can pull your desk away from the wall, the mount can actually position the screen further back with no problem. The F80 articulation can let you move the monitor behind the edge of the desk.

          • @ScreenMountsAu: I also have this issue. What's the min distance for the H80? Can't pull my desk away from the wall as my room is too small

  • Any idea when you'll get F-45's back into stock?

    • I wish I did. We ask all the time and I have placed an order for when they produce them. No production plan yet as of Thursday last week. Sorry.

      • Bugger, thanks anyway :)

  • -4

    It is $44 now

    • Did you read the actual post?

I got the Dell S2421HS deal. Does anyone know if this is compatible? It looks to be recessed 100x100, but at the same time the issue doesn't seem clear cut.

  • My monitor stand mounts onto the monitor via a 120x120 square block, the F80 should fit into this recessed area?

  • +1

This deal is very attractive, which is perfect for Dell 24 Monitor S2421HS! Thanks OP.

    • @dryice can you confirm that it will fit, despite the recess?

      • Please see here
        https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/model/549e2130
        under ergonomics, which is 100mm x 100mm

        • @dryice thanks, yes I know it's 100mm but poster has cast doubt due to recess. I have no experience with mounts, so wondered if you knew for sure.

          • @dullbeard: I took the risk on that matter ordered a piece already!

            • @dryice: It's been stated as fact that h80 fits the recessed VESA on dells, and the f80, and if you look at both monitor arms you can see F80 is wider at top, so unless someone has a dell with recessed Vesa and an F80, I would say it doesn't fit.

            • @dryice: @dryice I couldn't risk it. Regarding a different Dell model with recess, the rep says "The VESA plate on the F80 is 120 x 120, so best to check or ask if someone who has one can measure." The plate is 120mm.

If you don't want the risk you can always still cancel.

        • So apparently the base plate on this mount is 120mm and the recess on the monitor is officially 122mm. That was enough for me to the take the plunge, combined with shopback + zippay.

          • @dullbeard: my piece is arriving this afternoon, i will be able to precisely check the plate dimensions then, thanks all for sharing thoughts, information

            • @dryice: just received it, so the base plate dimension are 115mm x 115mm precise! cheers

              • @dryice: Thanks. Yeah, got mine today too. The rep has been saying 120mm, so it turns out it's a little under. Glad it worked out.

  • I am trying to achieve the following for three monitors with a H100 and H180.

    https://imgur.com/a/qz4sq7W

The idea would be to switch between productivity and gaming setup regularly by moving the two monitors on the H180 arm from a vertical setup to a horizontal one.

Anyone think this will actually work lol or am I crazy?

    • The issue will be whether the top monitor can come down low enough easily (without having to adjust the arms on the pole - which requires an allen key, and would be a major hassle to do each time). You would probably need to set the top arm as low as it can go while still being able to raise the top monitor above the other one. Could work - not sure.

What I mean is, the monitors can only move up and down a certain extent once fixed to the pole. In your diagram you have the top monitor moving a whole monitor of height, while the lower monitor is staying at the same height, but moving across. Whereas, if the left monitor was aligned with the middle of the two monitors when in productivity mode (so the bottom monitor was half a monitor lower than the left monitor, and the upper monitor was half a monitor higher than the left monitor), then the top monitor would be moving half a monitor down, and the bottom monitor would be moving half a monitor up - this would definitely work.

If you get what I mean!

It's not clear, because the video jump cuts, but if you notice in the video here, when the monitors are aligned vertically (top and bottom), the bottom monitor is much lower and almost touching the table, compared to when they are side-by-sde:
      https://www.screenmounts.com.au/new-series-nb-h180-dual-scre…

(Also: Pretty sure the pole will have to be more to the right - when the two monitors are side by side, the pole would probably need to be in the middle of the two monitors.)

My suggestion would be to have two H100 for the two side monitors, and have a separate arm for the gaming monitor - one with a lot of vertical height adjustment (perhaps one that is intended for sit-stand usage, or a wall mount that is made to bring a screen up or down).

    • Max on-the-fly vertical height adjustment (once fixed on the pole) for the H180 is 250mm.

According to Display Wars, a 25" monitor would be around 310mm tall.

So nah, top monitor will not be able to come all the way down. It might be enough for you though - you could have your productivity monitors 2-3cm lower than ideal, and then the gaming monitor will be 2-3cm higher than ideal in gaming mode (and you'd need to raise the side monitors slightly in gaming mode if you want them to line up).

      • If you get what I mean!

Yep I see what you mean now - I didn't think of this so thanks for pointing it out!

So nah, top monitor will not be able to come all the way down.

Looks like my plan won't work with these models - thankfully I didn't pull the trigger after adding them to card.

    • i have a F195 and the arms are long enough to do this

      • Looking into this option now - thank you for mentioning it. :)

  • For screens with height adjustable stand, a monitor stand is probably more practical as the platform provides extra space you can hide the keyboard and mouse under it when not in use and look neat.

Arms are great for dual screens, or for someone who need to re-position the screen regularly.

Is there any insight you could give on a future sale for the H100?

  • +1

    Hi ScreenMountsAU

Do you guys have the kits with the spacers to allow for these to be used for monitors that are recessed?

  • Quick question - is the NB logo a sticker that you can remove? Or is it a permanent part of the arm?

    Thanks

    • +1

You can remove, it’s a sticker

      • perfect - thanks mate.

Is there likely going to be enough in stock so that we can take advantage of the 12% Cashback at 4PM?

    • i dont think so .. its already 10% claimed by 12:53 pm

    • Still available can buy with 12% cashrewards.

  • @ScreenMountsAu I'm planning to get 3 monitor mount. Can i get 3 separate invoices?

    • can't buy more than one?

    • +1

You can only buy one. Wait for this afternoon cashreward 12 percent cashback.

  • What are benefits of a H100 over an F100? Can't think of a reason you'd get a H100 except price?

  • Why does this deal say "starts for you in 27 mins?"

    • oh so it's a prime thing? does that mean it could easily sell out before then? already 10% claimed.

  • got one, thanks

  • Wondering if this monitors vesa would be too recessed to work with this mount?

    https://www.kitguru.net/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/P1110386.…

    Thanks

  • Got one, thanks !!

  • I wanted two for two monitors, but could only get one from the deal. :/

  • +4

It allows me to claim only one. I was hoping to get two.

    • +2

Same. Would have been nice to know beforehand as buying two was part of my decision to get any.

    • +2

      yeah same.

    • Yeah, same. Hoping there will be stock left to have a crack with my non-prime account

      • +1

        Looks that way. Good luck.

  • Hi, Will this work with BenQ EX2510 MOBIUZ?

  • Well that deal lasted about as long as I expected!

    • It's only 17% claimed. Sounds like you might not be logged in to your Prime account, in which case you need to way about 18 minutes

      • Oh I already bought one so it must have nullified me from even seeing the price.

    • did amazon pull down the deal?

  • For the Xiamoi 34”, can’t find where i stored the bolts… anyone know where to get additional ones?

  • What are the dimensions of the mount’s base clamp? My desk is thicc and the edges slant at 45 degrees

  • This or the H80? Have 2x 2721D's on the way and need them as close to the wall as possible, but they both seem like they'd do the same job?

  • FWIW I have this supporting an LG 34" ultrawide.

The monitor is 6kg and it holds it up very well.

Fairly easy to move the monitor around. Putting the stand together was relatively easy. The cable management is good.

Got the stand from these guys via their ebay page and it arrived quickly.

    Hope this helps.
